In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9 verse 17, BG 9.17 Krsna says he is the syllable OM in the Most confidential knowledge. Krsna is the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. Krsna is the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable OM. In all the vedic mantras the word OM, called pranava, is a transcendental sound vibration and is also Krsna. In all the hymns of 4 vedas - Sama, Yajur, Rig and Atharva - the pranava or Omkara, is very prominent, it is understood to be Krsna. Pls read Bhagavad Gita As It Is by Srila Prabhupada which comes from the parampara and get benefitted

Reversed fact!!! It was not 'Ram' to 'Raman'. The journey (of the sound 'Ram') went the other way round. It's 'Raman' which became 'Rama' and later 'Ram'. When words/sounds are passed on, logically, they get diminished, and and not extended. This is my humble opinion. Tamil is inevitably "the oldest" of all languages.

"அஉஒ" என்ற உயிர் ஒலி(VOWEL)யும், "ம்" என்ற ஆதார மெய் (Condonant)யும் சேர்ந்த ஓசையே "அஉஒம்" என்ற ஏக பரம் ஆன ஆதிமுலம் (பரம்முலம்) (FORMULA) ! ஓம் என்பது தவறு ! அஉஒம் என்பதே சரியான சொல் !! பரம்விசையே ஏகம் பரம் (Sole Eternal Basic Energy) Almighty!

Thank you ji for your explanation. Nevertheless, there is nothing called as AUM. It's OM. It is Omkara. And foreigners made it AUM followed by all your explanations of Amen or other stuffs.. if you say there is no OM, it is an insult to Vyasa Maharishi. Are you greater than Vyasa Maharishi? Don't tell all these things in public. It is just misguidance.. I respect you a lot. But I can't accept whatever you say ji. Sorry!! It's against Vedanta.

it is equal distribution of a, u, m or 2/3 rd for O and 1/3 rd for M when you utter . Both are correct, is what Sadhguru has said earlier (15 yrs back in their class I attended). Lets leave Amen and other stuffs, we don't know how they arrived at or copied from and incorporated into their religious useless stuff.

Funny to listen to this... They should avoid interpreting the scriptures ... Word mentioned in John chapter 1 means completely different... verse 14 says word became flesh and dwelt among us... deeper knowledge on incarnation of Jesus will solve the mystery behind this...
