What brush are you using to apply the balm please? The bristles look shorter than the angled brush but I can't seem to find what it is?

im still finding the lashes pulling away after step two of the elleeplex system...what could I be doing wrong? thanks!

It is perfectly normal for the lashes to come away during step two. Our glue adhesives and balm adhesives are all water soluble so by the time lotion 2 is setting the bonds, they have been exposed to water twice as one of the main ingredients in the step 1 and 2 forumlas is water. I would take a look at using a form of lift locker to keep the lashes in place - you could use a medium size rod for this, cotton wool or you can keep your eyes peeled as we may have something extra special coming soon to help lock that lashes in place! :) Don't forget also, you can re-apply more Balm or Glue adhesive in between step 1 and 2 if you feel like the lashes have started to come away slightly, this will just ensure they are extra secure before that setting lotion goes on

How much balm should i apply to ensure that it will not mess up the processing time of step 1 and 2 for elleplex? I've been taught not to put too much however, I realised that it tends not to stick to the rods

Hi there, we recommend about a pea size or 0.5cm, depending on lash strength and length. When applying Elleebalm, we apply some to the rod/shield and then begin to wrap the lashes up so the lashes get a little adhesion from behind. Hi! I haven’t been able to find this information on the site. But for removal of this balm after tinting does it need to be removed with water?

Hi Emily, we'd love to assist! We recommend doing a lash bath following step 1 & 2 to ensure proper removal of lotions and Elleebalm. Once you've done this, we'd then tint the lashes using the Elleebana Protective Eye Guard. Is this what you mean? Let us know if not :)

Do you find that the tint is better using the balm vs the adhesive? I find that sometimes the tint doesnt hold well and I'm hoping the balm helps with that.

Which tint is it you are using? There shouldn't be any reason why the Pro Fusion tint doesn't hold especially after a lift as the lashes are alot more porous so can grab onto the tint quicker. My suggestions would be to cross check your tint oxidant ratio - we advise to use 50/50. Another thing to consider would be how long you're leaving it on for, application with no lift should be around 10 minutes, if you are applying after a lift, then we advise to leave it on for around 5 minutes. The balm won't have an impact on holding the tint, if anything it would cause a barrier if you haven't been thorough enough with the removal, so make sure when you're putting the lashes through the lash bath prior to tinting, you are really giving them a good clean in prep to tint. :)

Good afternoon, what should I do if after I wash off the second composition and lipstick there are white pieces left on my eyelashes that are very difficult to wash off? And also the eyelashes constantly come off, no matter how much composition I applied.

Hi, we would love to assist you further with this. We have yet to have this feedback, it shouldn't be too difficult to remove, especially when using a lash bath. Here are our top Elleebalm tips: 1. Apply an adequate amount of Elleebalm to the base of the lashes as this is where you will have the most resistance with the lashes. ⁠ 2. Apply Elleebalm to the rod/shield and then begin to wrap the lashes up, it provides some adhesion from 'behind' the lash. ⁠ 3. When applying lotions, use the feathering technique, trying to avoid pushing the lashes around too much. ⁠ ⁠ If you would like some more assistance, our team is available, simply send us a message on Facebook or Instagram @elleebana :)

Oh sorry, another tip! If you are dealing with particularly stubborn lashes, we recommend using a little adhesive on the tips of the lashes for extra hold :)
