Excellent interview of a brilliant musician. Thx!

Excellent interview! You did a great job, especially at getting Ellen to open up and be honest. It makes her come across as a really smart, witty and incredibly likable person. For the 'gear heads', I'd bet a dollar to a donut that then 'Giant Kurzweil' was a K250. My first thought, when she mentioned how many sounds it had was 'it must be a K2500 or K2600.', problem is, 'God Shuffled his feet' came out in 1993. Those synths weren't released until 1996 and 1999, respectively. (I'm 55 and had honestly forgot the exact years...and that it was that long ago). That leaves the K2000 (released in 1991) and the K250 (released in 1984). The K2000 is a small, 61 key synth, so that doesn't fit 'it was probably 20 times the size that they are now' comment. at all. Meaning, that it *had* to be a K250.

It is nice to hear Ellen being interviewed. Interesting that she is so NOT a keyboard gear head and isn't into her keys playing the degree that some players are. I would have liked to hear her discussing her backing vocals / lead vocals since that is such a large part of the Crash Test Dummies sound. But I guess this is a keys oriented show. None the less this was very interesting. Thanks for sharing it.
