My Beautiful Wife and i first me in High School shw was 14 and i had just turned 16 First time we ever saw each other. I am now 80 and she would be 78 this year. We have charished every moment. Watching you two makes me think of what a beautiful life we have had together. Not too many couples ever achieve that in this life time. Thank you so much for the Love you share. I think after the new sort after marital bliss subsides into life's realities Tessa will remember and so will Scott but also with the realization it has slipped into the past never to be replicated.Perhaps see it more a manipulation of them by other people to produce a fantasy on ice? So that what they opted for was more them who they really are and their needs than the on ice fantasy.There can be no turning back,because reality is stronger than fantasy and it was their own personal choice and who they really are .Regardless.

I start watching these two and I can't stop. It's like they're in a world of their own. They dance like nobody's watching. If they're not in love then I want "not to be in love" like that someday. Most people go through their whole life and never even get close to finding anything that special. I wonder if they know what they have.

Oh I absolutely agree this is so deep so connected "not to be in love" and to be just acting is incredible not to feel anything for each other 22 years at one time there had to be something waking up inside of them for each other or ther are super human. I mean he is all man and she is all woman acting out emotions that seem to be deep far beyond any I have seen or felt with any other pair skaters something is amiss here.

What you don' t see in these clips are the many many many hours of hard grey heavy work, training routine day in day out for years and years which they also lived through together ... and where there was pain, bordom, stress, frustration, exhaustion...

I will never believe these two did NOT have a passionate love affair for years. But they kept it a secret if people knew it would’ve been torn apart everything about them they had to share with people this is one thing that they were going to keep for themselves. I think that time when they retired for two years I think they may have broken up at that point. They wanted different things she’s very ambitious he wanted to settle down etc. but there’s no question when I watch them that there is a physical connection between them they could only come from having had an intimate and passionate relationship.

I was sure they were in love, also. One of them was in love with the other. Their partner was in love with the idea of being in love. True love takes effort, forgiveness, and grace. It was a journey they needed to take together, and we are better for it. Torvill & Dean, plus Papadakis & Cizeron, were on the same journey. It happens in the movies, as well. We ask ourselves: If this isn't love, then, what is it?! A lot of classics have been written about this age-old question. Any takers? Well, enjoy the artistry...

Actually I feel it was Scott who was often in and out of love with Tessa but she was intent on doing more with her life after the skating ended.That was a bit of a setback for Scott he then took consolation with a very experienced little divorcee who pursued him she had been a juvenile skating partner who got passed over for Tessa ,who for her age was a phenomenal skater The overlooked skater consoled Scott well got herself pregnant two years after the baby was born he married her. C'est la Vie

I fear that one day they are gonna regret losing that bond that they had. I know they’ve moved on with their lives, and I wish them the absolute best, but I feel like they might have let some frustrations drive them to make decisions they might not have otherwise made.

They were pure magic together! The very best ice dancers in the world forever! No one has even come close to the perfection they had together. Not only gorgeous & handsome movie star looks but perfect moves in every program & they are Canadian! So proud of them!

gosh it was so long ago. I'll try to remember. They come from various trainings. Theres some from the show, some nationals practice footage. Which mark are you referring to specifically?
