Does anyone else watch these vlogs for comfort? to know that there are normal functioning, loving families out there. My family is so dysfunctional and angry, watching these videos bring me hope that I can choose how I raise my own family.

So I don't know how to get my hair done tomorrow and I don't have to go home to the gym with the same time as well as a result of an eye on my iPhone and it will be the year before the game and a half hour to get the same thing as the most beautiful thing is I can't wait for this weekend I don't know how I feel like a baby in a while and it is not an issue with my mom just called me and you have to go to the point of the issue

My son used to have breath-holding spells when he got really hurt. He would cry whilst holding his breath and then faint. So scary. Glad Jackson is okay. xo

my daughter had the same deal, where she would pass out after getting hurt. hers was almost instant. it almost always goes away by age 4

My sister would purposely hold her breath and pass out when she wouldn't get what she wanted while growing up. Now she has a son that does the same thing lol.

I just wanted to tell you guys that watching your videos make me so happy. I just had my first baby almost 3 weeks ago and I am 18 and single so iv been having a hard time adjusting and have a little bit of post baby blues but really taking the time while my loved one is sleeping to watch your videos makes me way less stressed out and refreshed because I really do strive to have a family as happy as y'alls. Thank you guys so much :)

I couldn't imagine what Ellie was feeling when jackson passed out like that! I would have to contain myself and not panic because that would've scared the life out of me as well!! I'm glad he's alright and i'm also glad that Ellie got to spend time with her sisters! Such a blessing.

Poor Jackson!! So glad he's okay and that's always so scary. I've had quite a few kiddos in my years of teaching/child care who were breath holders when they got injured/upset and cried. It's traumatizing for all involved, but of course it's just the body's natural way of say "Hello there kid, you've gotta breathe!" If you ever find yourself in the situation again where it looks like it might happen try blowing in his face several times - sometimes that helps. But of course thankfully he's alright! ETA: I hadn't gotten to the part yet where you said you know to blow on their lips but of course it was too late by that point. It does happen, but it's honestly just the body's way of keeping them safe. If you're crying or holding your breathe to the point you can't breathe your body faints/passes out and automatically you start breathing again.

Awww when he said "owie" like that I completely lost it and started crying, poor little man. Then he wiped Dad's nose, he is so adorable. Scary when kids pass out. I had an issue as a kid with that and so did my niece. She once did it as we were landing on a plane (her ears hurt) talk about scary, everyone around me started freaking out

when we have reunions, we all do family trivia, everyone writes down 10-20 trivia questions, split into teams, and pick a question. Sometimes parents find out things they didn't know about their kids, and it's a real good time.

This video makes me so happy but it also makes me miss my family so much. This is my first year being away from them and completely alone for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. IVE NEVER spent both of those holidays away from family. I just love seeing you all together and smiling. The kids are all so cute and I loved the sibling video.

Aw, Jackson saying "owwie" just broke my heart! I'm not clear on what exactly happened, but my 18-month-old has cried so hard that he can't get a breath a bunch of times. His lips turn blue and he goes all limp for just a second, and then he's totally fine after few minutes of hugs. He's done it after getting hurt or even just from being super frustrated about something. It's SOO dang scary!! We've asked his doctor about it, and he told us it's totally normal as long as he seems fine afterwards. Holding him horizontally while he's crying hard helps a little. I think it makes it easier for the blood to flow or something. They also just outgrow that eventually.

+MsCMB1971 Her brother in law Landon is a Doctor in training so I'm sure he would have checked him over and made sure everything is fine.

+Marissa Seagal You're right. Landon probably looked him over. They mention in the next day's video that they called the doctor for advice and Jackson was to stay calm and sit quietly. Today though he is out in the rough and tumble with all the cousins and had to take a nap in a room beside Uncle Joel's renovation area where they were using loud equipment. I don't understand why Jackson would be put through this additional stress. Maybe Landon thinks Jackson is recovering quickly. That's probably the situation. We all care about this little guy but he has a loving family so we don't need to worry.

I am so worried for little Jackson right now :( Passing out and not breathing is terrifying.. I would have lost it and brought him to the hospital. You guys are good at keeping your stuff together.
