great collection! i started collecting pins when i was a lot younger but only bought some here & there. during my disney college program is when i really got into it & possibly went a little crazy & bought a whole bunch haha. now i cant stop!

I have never been to Disney but I just bought my first few Disney pins so I'm very excited to start my Disney Pin Collection I love anything Disney so I been wanting to start collecting pins for a while now. Tonight I also bought a big cork board to hang in my room to put my pins on! My first few pins are the candy apples like Olaf, Donald,Mickey and a few others!

We love our pins! We put them in a nice frame and display them in our home . I just love being able to see them daily! Oh, and I love the Disneyland Paris pins... Love the keys. Carribean Beach was our first resort visit and tho we've stayed at many other resorts I always go back at least once per year :)

It's an awesome way to meet people too. Met a lovely couple at AK, and he gave me a pin for nothing (he offered his Gurgi pin to anyone who knew who he was. Poor forgotten Gurgi. And we ended up chatting for about an hour) Another way to check if a pin is genuine is to use a magnet. Many fakes use the original molds, acquired by illicit means and subterfuge! So they have all the correct markings. But they're made of cheap metal, and the magnet will cling to a fake. The originals won't. Super long comment. Great collection.

Hi Ellie! Love the vids! Love you! It may have been mentioned in the comments previously, but pin trading is banned at Tokyo Disney. Rumor has it, it just got a little too intense there when the collecting, swapping, & selling, turned to fighting -- people would set up their own little stands right in the middle of the park, and the crown for so big that people couldn't get around them, so it's been banned since 2002. My husband and I are big pin traders, I love collecting the grab bag mystery pins, keeping the ones I love and trading the rest. We always get a year pin and resort pin as a keepsake as well. Keep up the awesome work, you bring a smile to at least 21,000 of us out there! ;-)

Going to Florida in 3 weeks and so hype to start pin trading. Already been 5 times so I dunno why I didn't start sooner. Plan on collecting the Little Mermaid, sorcerer Mickey and rides/attractions/parks pins :D

I'd love to collect Rapunzel and Ariel pins, but the whole pin trading thing kind of intimidates me. Not being able to get certain limited editions and rares would frustrate me too much, so I should just stay away from them haha! I do remember seeing really cute princess pins back in january 2015.. Kind of like the cute vinyl princess keychains they sell right now. I regret not getting those.. :( Speaking of those cute princess pins, you really need that Belle for your collection! She was so cute!

I love pins!! I haven't traded yet but I hope too on my next trip! I collect villain pins, mostly Captain Hook and any of the rarer villains :) I also collect Mulan, Tiana and Aurora pins for my daughters. x

You can buy pins from the Disney Store website but they don't have the best selection, but you definitely know they're official it's also good way to buy a couple if you're wanting to start collecting pins but don't have a Disney trip planned anytime soon. :)

My daughter and I started collecting Disney pins three years ago. We have too many to name however our favorites to collect are Alice in Wonderland, Marie, Bambi, Resort, Ride, Princess Cameos and Winnie the Pooh pins.

I don't necessarily want to get into pin trading but when I go on my honeymoon this month I really want to buy myself a princess lanyard and collect a few special pins to commerate our time at DLP. And then I can keep the lanyard in our bedroom. I have a list of things for everyone else I want to buy at DLP, but that will be my special gift to myself! I've been toying with the idea of starting a collection and now I'm annoyed that I didn't get a diamond anniversary one from the Anaheim Disneyland! I went for the first time a few weeks ago and the pins were so pretty! I think I would collect the year pins and special occasion ones, rides that I've been on, places I've stayed, all the princesses and the little mermaid. Maybe some Hercules too!

Loved this vlog Ellie as I love collecting Disney pins. I buy little mermaid, park pins, ride pins and I have a Port Orleans pin as this is where we always stay. I also have a pin of one of the boats that takes us to Disney Springs. I love your Beauty and the Beast pins I might get some as Belle is my second favourite princess after Ariel. One of my favourite pins is my Indiana Jones pin as he was my childhood hero, think he still is to be honest. My kids collect pins also, we started collecting two trips ago to WDW. It's great fun I met a lovely cast member who I traded with, I got the orange bird from him, we had a chat and he gave our party fast passes he was lovely. Hope you have a great week :) xx

When i went this year i picked up the Barbosa "Piece of Walt Disney World History" pin which was limited to 1500 an had a piece of Barbosa's shirt inside. I really wanted the Snow White Scary Adventure one released in April but they had sold out. You have a great collection x

Loved this! I don't go for a particular theme. I just choose my favorite Disney characters (I have a ton of favorites). The first couple of pins I got were in the mystery packs, and I don't like them at all. I've been trying to get the courage up to trade them with a cast member, but I'm just too shy!!

I started pin collecting at Disney world (I trade some but I just want all the pins lol) and it has become a hobby now to find a pin wherever I go on vacation! It's really fun! I have a big cork board in my office that I display them all on.

I've recently gotten into pin trading because I've always been interested in it but have never actually started collecting. Right now I'm collecting pins that are more disneyland themed,wich means that they are more about the rides or the park,but I also really like Alice in wonderland pins. Your collection is really nice,and I love it! Ps: how much did that pin bag cost?

Off topic but on the theme of limiting yourself because you could get carried away...I do this with tsum tsums as I know I would buy way too many - I limit myself to one character per film/collection (however, I purchased 3 for The Force Awakens) - anyway, I think sticking to a theme is a good idea for pins too!

I will start collecting Marie (Aristocats), Alice and mary poppins pins. Also hotel pins.

I have also become a big Chip and Dale fan because we went to Disneyland when my daughter was 6 and they were so funny! They were playing around and accidentally dropped her autograph pin and broke the top part off a little. We didn't get mad because they felt so bad and what better story can you have than chip & dale broke my pin?:) Any way I have loved Disney my whole life so I love your videos!

I put my pins on an old school lamp shade in my bedroom. My best one I have is I think Flower Garden Festival 2016 Mickey and Minnie. I only started last year though and have never traded before. so this video was really helpful. Is Disneyland Paris cheaper or more fun? I love pins! I don't really collect specific characters, just ones from films I love 😊 I love the idea of the hotel ones! When I go to Paris again I'll have to stock up on the hotels I've stayed at 😅 this has also inspired me to start trading when I go to DW for the first time this summer- thank you! I'm a pin collector but don't do trading as I love the pins I get .I have two big pin bags full and a small one nearly full .I collect Alice in wonderland and haunted mansion so if I see any then that's the first things I buy .I have a feeling when I go to Disneyland California and Paris I will been adding to my collection 😉
