Excellent as always! Poor Elliot is so vulnerable and at times, he's looking at her like she's unattainable. But he can't stop trying because he absolutely needs her.

Olivia is still very pissed at Elliot & rightly so. Not to mention they way he left and not being in touch for 10 years, but he's using her as a crutch. He's treating her as his wife and asking for help with Eli blurting out his feeling at the intervention and not asking about her live & the letter he gave her 90% he didn't write. Don't get me wrong, they have the chemistry and maybe something will happen, but he needs to deal with his grief, spend time with his family before anything else

Of course she is still hurt but I think she's more disappointed about the fact that he's not ask about her life and what she's bin through since he left. She is there for him, giving and giving and he is taking but not giving anything back. She said the right things to him, you can see it in his face, he really felt sorry that she has the feeling that he's not caring. I really like how they write the scence for them. She still needs more time to finally trust him again.

They say when some one faces a great loss that they lose their ability to rationalize and reason. This is very true... Elliot is still in morning of Kathy, even while he still has has these feelings towards Liv. (That resurfaced when they met up again after not communicating to one another in 10 yrs.) He's had so much happening to and around him since he lost Kathy. Elliot hasn't had the time and isn't ready to deal with it all just quite yet. I totally agree with you that he needs to spend more time with his family and figure himself out first. Otherwise he's gonna end up unintentionally alienating and pushing Liv away from him...
