And he hadn't even rolled his sleeves up yet. The perps always knew they were in trouble when he rolled up his sleeves. The two times when he hugged Liv! The first, at the hospital, after she saved Kathy and helped deliver his 5th child, and the 2nd time, after Kathy died. The shot was the same, she closed her eyes both times and he was wearing a blue shirt both times. Pure poetry ♥️

Elliot missed a lot in Liv’s life and they missed a lot in each other’s lives. He has a lot of work to do before they are good again but I’m hopeful 🙂

This is fantastic and incredibly painful. I swear every word said between them in these episodes just hung in the air with so much weight. And just looking at the difference in their faces, showing how much time and history has passed is beautiful. When Kathy said everything about them, just the raw truth not caring that neither of them really wanted to go there yet, i screamed “THANK YOU!!!” at the screen 😂 that alone made my heart break when she died. She didn’t deserve that ending. Anyway, great video.

And just the looks between the 2 of them are as powerful as the words spoken. Also kudos to whoever scored the episodes particularly at the end of SVU when Stabler was comforting Dickie and Kathleen and looking at Liv. That was quite the moment.

@@Rheinmeister09 yes. There were a few moments where it seemed like he was looking at her to draw strength and not completely break. When they hugged and obviously he’s devastated but still looked happy or at least comforted to bury his face in her shoulder... that got me💔

@@mckayleem3098 even further back from that - Liv was the first person that he saw when Kathy was going into the ambulance. Liv's reaction was one of shock at seeing him but his was more of as you say strength just after the worse thing happened to him particularly when the bomb was clearly meant for him.

@@sarahswomley2580 yeah from a writing perspective it would be incredibly difficult to address that without overshadowing an entire episode. But Lewis had a huge impact on her character and in a weird way that archenemy type battle continues after his death, given that his last act was to make every twisted thing he did be the last thing on her mind when she dies. He ensured that her mental struggle with him and herself would continue after his death, hence why he killed himself. My gosh he was an incredible villain 😂 I hate him, but fictionally I kinda love to hate him. I just wish Elliot knew cuz he’d obviously have some thoughts. I’ll feel a little cheated if they just let it go.

Something tells me, that whatever it was in that letter...was something much stronger than just friendship between these two. Based on how the crossover has unfolded, I think they may just take the extra step to heal what they thought was lost.

@@alwarrior1148 I definitely think that the letter confesses his true feelings for her. She is now the woman he always wanted her to be. She has grown so much without him there. He always loved her. She was literally lost without him for awhile. I cannot wait to see how they deal with this in the future episodes.

@@strongtravel8056 he wrote this before Kathy died and his marriage seemed stronger than before so I wonder if the letter will be more about his feelings about her as a partner/closest friend/kindred spirit beyond the work sense about how she shaped who he became as a man/father/husband over the years. We know he loves her but does it betray the character as a husband if he goes too far in the letter?

@@Rheinmeister09 it was but I think it will be about his true feelings for her. You can love someone but know that you cannot have them. It does not mean that he did not love his wife. If you remember he was divorced for awhile but never got with Olivia because they knew that they couldn’t.
