As a kid, Chase is an amazing guy to look up to, I cried when he won at the Glen in 2018, to meet him would be insane, and I definitely think that he is the future of NASCAR

Same here I love Jeff gordon and I was sad when he retired but I had also hear of hot shot chase elliott, and I was happy knowing that chase would carry on both Jeff and bills legacy on, until chase started driving the 9, but i still hope he does good, same with willy b.

While Chase Elliott is the Second-Coming of both Dale Jr & Jeff Gordon, we shouldn't forget that guys like Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, Bubba Wallace, Daniel Suarez and even Ross Chastain are part of the Future of NASCAR as well.

I'll always be a Hendrick fan first, I was with Jeff since day 1, but I like this core of drivers and now add in Buescher who's been dubbed to get Rousch back to Victory lane this year, and Guido. Top it off with possibly the best rookie class since Johnson & Newman (Bell, Reddick, possibly Custer) and we have a bright future in the Cup series.

I think Larson helps bridge the gap between sprint cars and NASCAR. Similar to what Gordon and Stewart did. I give you a sense of pride when you see him on TV, knowing that you saw him at your local dirt track.

Great video. I remember that truck win. Dillon's truck would cut out in the corners and when Chase and Dillon hit, Dillon's truck wasn't running. That consequential slow down combined with he chopping across Elliott's nose, Dillon got wrecked. If he simply let Chase go, he would finished 2nd and had a bigger points cushion. Dillon knew his truck cut off in the corners due to fuel starvation so what I said would have been smarter. Dillon did that wreck to himself.

As a Hendrick Motorsports fan, I am a little biased but they honestly might have the brightest future in NASCAR. Chase is looking like a star in the making, Alex has looked outstanding at times, maybe even the best Chevy in the series for stretches (although streaky) and Bill Byron has shown incredible potential (especially in the playoffs) he for sure shows flashes of what he did in the xfinity and truck series at time.

The best part of Chase is he is humble just like ole Dad! Bill is one of the best of all times and I hope Chase has just as much if not more success than him! Plenty more wins and Championships to add to this story in years to come I’m sure. Great video!!!🏁👍🏻

I am looking forward to see what Chase continues to do in his NASCAR career! I've cheered for him since 2013 in ARCA and Trucks (I'm a Hendrick Fanatic, I do have TONS of respect for Chase). Rick Hendrick hired the perfect guy for not only Cup, but as a future driver when he was younger! I am so excited to see Chase's future and his future for Hendrick Motorsports! Honestly, he's a better driver when he got in the 9 than when he was in the 24. I guess he was meant to have the #9 to begin with in Cup. I see great things coming out of Chase in the future!

Chase Elliott is a very very talented driver. As a matter of fact he's my favorite driver. However that girl at the beginning....... Is the only reason that i can see why anyone would not like him. His fans are so batshit crazy about him that it makes other people detest him.

Girls were like with that with Dale Jr. Both my sister and girlfriend (back then) were stupid crazy over him and barely knew anything about the sport other than Dale Jr is awesome and Jeff Gordon was "gay" and wasn't as good (thank god my wife is intelligent when it comes to sports. Thank you baby bearded jesus). So yes, I understand that frustration 100% Bowman is developing a similar fanbase as well. Mostly with older dudes rooting for him due to taking over the 88. The post race call in show Monday supported that claim.

It doesn’t matter about his fan base though? Yeah it’s annoying to hear someone get asked “why he’s their favorite driver?” And all they can say is “uh idk.. he’s cute.” Like I get that but he’s really talented, passionate, hard core on the track and loves his fans. He brings excitement and passion back in the sport that I haven’t seen in a driver since Jr. yeah I grew with Sr and then went to Jr..and for a long time after Jr retired the excitement died down until Elliot started making his way up the poles! The excitement is back every Sunday now bc of Elliot. I’m a fan of Hendricks and Chevy so it makes it easy to grab onto Elliot but watching him behind the wheel of that Chevy NAPA car when he’s making pass on the inside to gain first place is what it’s all about 🏁

I still remember the finish last year at Watkins Glen and Elliott messing up the first turn badly, we all initially thought he had choked again but thankfully he didn't, and soon it would begin a tally of wins coming to him among many more to come in the future.

Been a fan since 2013 when I saw him win. I was only 9 when I saw him win. My dad told me who he was and his history, and before Chase I liked Bill Elliott too. When I learned all about him, I became a big fan of his. I think Chase will have an excellent career, and so far it isn't bad! 6 Career Cup Wins, 5 Xfinity Wins, 1 Xfinity Championship, 2 Truck Wins, yea he ain't that bad. Hopefully when we get back racing, I wanna see that Number 9 in Victory Lane. Go Chase!

Chase Elliott became a driver of interest for me because his dad, Bill Elliott, was my first ever favorite. This to me is no different than my interest in Ryan Blaney & John Hunter Nemechek because of my interest in their dads, Dave Blaney & Joe Nemechek. What separates Chase from the other 2 though is that Chase didn't just inherit Bill Elliott's fans. He also inherited Jeff Gordon's when he took over the 24 car. That's something William Byron cannot claim even though he has the 24 now. Honestly, the Gordon fans is why I feel like there's a lot of rage outs towards Chase amongst haters. However Bill Elliott always had way more fans than Jeff Gordon anyways. So at the very least there are indeed more true Chase fans out there based on Bill & his past than Jeff & his. My bond with Chase will never be as strong as my bond with Bill, but he will be a driver of interest for me as long as I decide to keep up with NASCAR...

I grew up a Sr and Jr fan and a after Jr retired.. couldn’t find that excitement for racing like before until Elliot came up and I found that excitement again! He’s an awesome driver and person! Not only does he drive a Chevy but he drives for Hendricks! Total package 🏁😎

i WILL SAY THIS..... when he joined THE BIG LEAGUES... I didn't quit care for him... *diehard JJ 48 fan*... but once I started watching him, and listening to him in his interviews... I started to like him. When JJ retired in 2020.. JR *2017* and JG 2015....... RIP DAVEY ALLISON .... I went to Chase, faithful to the 48 and 24.. so bowman and byron.... DIE HARD HMS FAN HERE... 9, 48, 24..... .. Chase is a great person. Calm, respectful, cool, and everything about him ~ FUTURE MAYBE 7X ....

i am a 19 year old male and i can honestly say that i acted like those girls when i got to meet him at fontana this year at the hendrick hospitality tent. i was dale jr fan and when he retired, i jumped ship to elliot. followed him in xfinity and so he is now my driver. i am a huge fan. DIG

Chase is by far one of the best drivers to ever come along in NASCAR. Yes, it’s in his blood. But there is something more to him that makes him special. He is calculating, persistent and can stand his ground with the best of them. As time goes on, he will only get better and prove that his success is no fluke. Fan of Chase, because he was the first to take over the 24 after my favorite driver, Jeff Gordon retired. I rode with the 24 but then Chase became my favorite driver so I follow him. My first ever race, was Dover 2014 or 2015, Gordon won. My second ever race was Dover 2018 I believe, the october race i believe, Chase won

From the early 80's until his death there is no denying Earnhardt was the biggest name in the sport but I would never call Dale Sr a fan favorite, he had just as many fans who hated him as fans who loved him. Bill Elliot on the other hand pretty much owned the most popular driver award for close to two decades until he pulled himself from the vote.

I honestly still can’t put my finger on why Chase is so liked. He’s pretty well talented, but if Bill wasn’t his dad, I’m not sure he’d have so many fans. If Christopher Bell & Kyle Larson get top rides in Cup, I think it’d be a wrap. Tbh I think Chase is just Dale Jr 2.0 in terms of talent-popularity ratio. And that’s not exactly a compliment, albeit they do have some above average talent.

Boy can drive very good. But getting along with other drivers F+. Busch family been lucky so far. He not in Busch family. Them boy's from Vegas been lucky so far knock on wood. Boy can be one of the greats if he just try to fit in with lot other drivers. 1 right tap 1 right hit you hurt for life. That has ended many careers.

Wonder what his fan base would be if he wasn't an ELLIOTT that took over a car from a retiring JEFF GORDON. 2 of the biggest names in the history of the sport. Yeah he's a great driver, but like most other young guns there's nothing about him off the track that makes him stand out. Logano is a douche, but at least he has personality (even though it's that of a gaping vagina). Kyle Busch is a hot head that's done dumb shit, but he's also one of the few vocal critics of a sport that has DESPERATELY needed to be criticized. And Bubba Wallace is never afraid to speak his mind, whether it's about his personal issues or incidents on the track. I despise Joey, I agree with Kyle, and I relate to Bubba, and that gives feeling to watching them race and battle the other drivers. But Chase? Yeah he had a run in with Hamlin, but that's the ONLY time I've seen any personality from him. Again, Chase is a great driver, but I just don't care about him. It's like Jimmie Johnson. Fast alone is boring.

Ok I think ty is a bust and I like Elliott but Elliott did not have the inside. He clearly dive bombed ty for the win. Not saying I wouldn’t do the same because I have but I like to call it how it is. Ps. I’m probably going to get have for this. I do like Elliott though.
