Great video. Very well explained. How do we choose where to put the period for the profile? I start drawing s/r lines on the weekly, daily and go until 4h. Can we also detect where the smart money is going? Thanks 🙏

The bars represent how much time the price has been at each level/price? Is it not how much volume was traded at that each level/price? I have seen nodes bigger than other nodes, that only had a couple of candlesticks in them, over nodes smaller with many multiples of candlesticks

Gosh, I am a really, really, really, "bad", beyond words trader ;( Anyway, joke aside, great class on volume profile. Question, isn't POC subjective due to the time frame you apply to? Also what about all the technicians telling us to buy into strength, especially when a stock is making ATH? The price may never retrace back to the original POC? Does that mean we move on to find other trades?

Technicians and institutions have their own interest and based on the rumors created by them we retail traders loose lot of money. The indicators are all lagging one like the MACD, RSI or MA or whatever. Technicals depend on the lagging indicators while the Volume profile can be considered a leading indicator. To summarise instead of buying at POC, better wait so the price goes below POC thus Some times no trade is also a trade.
