I was just playing a match last night with two medics that had the Kritskrieg, and I was a Heavy. They chose me as their vessel and so I would have several moments where I’d give them insane kill streaks. At the end of the game I thanked them as it was a lot of fun and they thanked me for the killstreaks. One of my favorite moments playing this game.

For me, the Kritzkrieg says "I don't need to be invincible when the entire other team is dead!"

1:26 I know that the whole bit about the comp scene is more or less a throwaway, the kritzkrieg is actually occasionally used in comp in yet another risk/reward interaction, since uber advantage is everything - you get your uber more quickly than stock, but if you don't act on that advantage, the enemy's uber will absolutely destroy yours, as you mentioned.

22:20 my take on the amputator: makes you actually have self healing and, when you have a guarranteed pocket, other melees are more lackluster. However if you dont have a pocket it might be not worth using it because your pocket wont kill anyone making you and him die and making your escape impossible, in this situation its almost always better to do sporadic ubers which makes the ubersaw a little better because you can get a little more uber on random spies.

We used to do a kritz to the OG Enforcer (20% extra damage on every shot, slower cloak time) and called it "Enforce the law!". It was genuinely really damn good as no one expected a spy to just 1-3 shot you. I miss that Enforcer.

i remember so vividly when i played kritzkrieg medic and was about to defend a payload push, i decided to kritz the f2p soldier that can easily blow up their entire enemy team that is pushing the cart, instead he did the unthinkable he looked down and picked up *a rocket jumper* while facing *the entire enemy team* on the payload i was genuinely baffled by it and probably have ptsd from it

As a Sniper main who only played pre-bot crisis the funnies thing to me was when a Medic got tilted with Demos and Sollys not giving them kills came up to me because I was performing quite well, and Kritz'd me. I got 3 body shot kills with it which was pretty hilarious. It's a perfect meme, Kritz the sniper and have him bodyshot everyone.

Tbh Stock Uber+Phlog is honestly one of the times I think people should realize “yeah the phlog pyros aren’t horrible people, there’s at least 2 brain cells (maximum of 3) rattling around inside their brain.” It takes some coordination and it’s probably the reason the Phlogistinator is a weapon in the first place, to be an insane booster to the Stock Uber without sacrificing damage output but at the same time justifying having no airblast to save yourself or your team from projectiles and fire when you *aren’t* being Ubered.

I remember rigging the Kritzkrieg Casino once. Me and that stock medigun medic combined our halves of our singular braincells together, and forward marched a soldier charged with triple damage and invulnerability. And we did it twice in a single round!

The other day I had a great time memeing around with a random gun spy who asked for kritz, managed to gun down at least two enemies per charge, more than often getting a long range med pick. Ran that combo for three consecutive rounds, often demoralizing the enemy team from the humiliation and confusion of being bodied by the stock revolver. Needless to say, I made a friend that day.

I somehow got myself and a pyro to a flank behind an enemy defense line. They were all packed in a building and when the kritz went on half of the enemy team disappeared before they could even scream. The team just walked past the remaining feeble resistance to win the game. Kritz is the best

Best Pockets in my opinion with the Kritzkrieg: Soldier: Soldier can withstand a couple of hits with his high health and can cause devastation to crowds of enemies, he also has banners to also help the team but dealing more damage really quickly. Demoman: Same as Soldier, and especially good at Nests as you can destroy the engineers with 1 or 2 Pipes Heavy: He can rip and tear through groups of enemies with his Minigun or use a Shotgun and just turn and target into Swiss cheese Engineer (Widowmaker): With an infinite clip, WM Engineers are a devastating force to handle and even though with only 125 health, add the Gunslinger and overheal (225 Health), a critted Engie would be one of the most powerful units in the team. Sniper: Although typically at the backlines, if you Uber a Sydney Sleeper or Hitman Heatmaker Sniper, they can dish out massive damage or support your team. Spy (Gun Spy): yes, I am serious
