TRAINED AUDIO PROFESSIONAL HERE. I HAVE THE ANSWER ABOUT ZOE!!! The people listening in Mono are experiencing a perfect example of a "destructive phase" relationship. The audio from the game has been split into a Left and Right channel, and one of those two channels has had their PHASE INVERTED. Similar to how -1 + 1 = 0, when those Left and Right channels are summed into a single Mono channel they cancel each other out perfectly, leaving only the garbled, digital mess of the imperfections between the two channels. In short, the audio for the Zoe game is not Mono Compatible. I hope you read this PBG!! - Alex

Putting it simply, one side of the audio is the inverted version of the other, meaning it cancels out the other channel. Therefore, if you are listening in Mono, it will combine the two channels and make it so you can’t hear her.

You're exactly right! Couldn't hear anything through my phone speaker.. Switched to my headphones and suddenly I can hear Zoe loud and clear. Science ROCKS

This was already mentioned but devices that don't play stereo(like my kindle with one speaker) can't hear Zoey. On the bright side(?) it makes for a funny creepy moment because the jumbled audio is a little disturbing but the animation of Zoey talking is funny.

***FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T HEAR ZOE*** Try listening on something that has stereo, not mono. That should work. Sorry about the inconvenience! Not sure why that is happening.

Use headphones, it works then. I've encountered this issue with other videos on my phone, sometimes certain types of audio just don't seem to work right on phone speakers.

Where'd you play back thr audio from? My way of doing it is often a cassette tape. Although sometimes I shill on one of those books that plays audio depending on wjat page you're on. Costs be a ton of paper, but the really bad audio quality is worth it.

Pbg I just wanna say I've been watching your channel for years now, and no other youtube creator makes me grin ear to ear everytime I see a new upload. I appreciate your goofy humor, the hard work you put into your videos, and how kindly you treat your viewers! It's crazy to see how much your channel has grown over the years. That little spiel at the beginning was probably made for humor, but it has some decent amount of truth to it. PBG is a channel I enjoy watching and yet, I’ve noticed that unlike most of the channels I watch, he doesn’t even swear mildly, much less play shooter games. It’s actually pretty wholesome. Keep being you, PBG. You rule.
