This is the double album that changed American and British music forever. Thanks, Ab Borburgh, for sharing this historic double-album set in its entirety here on KZfaq. Five Stars. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

It was Elmore's last recording, and his voice was still powerful, with wonderful guitar.

It's not too much more. You can say Elmore james was the master of the slide guitar, he was and is just smokin HOTTT

This really brings back memories.... First time I heard "Dust My Broom" was back in '74, played on the "Blues By The Bay" show by a D.J. named Tom Mazzolini; on radio station KPFA in Berkeley CA. I was 15 years old & I copied Elmores trademark blues slide & 4/4 time rhythm on my brothers '63 Gibson SG Standard, listening to that show.... Been stuck in the blues ever since! Thank God. Oh yeah; an R.I.P., Mr. Johnny Winter, who could ever forget him, either; he said Elmore was one of his major influences as a young man.

This is some good sounding Blues and there is a hell of lot more out there. I will never hear our see enough Blues Bands in my life. When I Wake Up and crawl out of bed I'm Rockin to the Blues and it shakes me till I'm feeling alright. I know some people don't like loud music but I do and I will never change. Kick it up and play it loud for me all day n night long.

Been discovering classic blues lately. It feels fitting. I've been talking to other young men now that I've entered uni, and some of things they say in casual discussion are unbelievably sad. Maybe it's time the blues saw a resurgence.

That guitar tone is so hot, I might even sound good playing that sound. Just so happens one of the best players ever consistently got the hottest tone over a full 10+ yr stretch

Gran disco doble, gracias Ab Bourburgh.

Hello, yes, I ripped this one some 18 years ago using a soundcard (Creative) and software from Steinberg. It's been a tough job to remove all the clicks!
