Easy and simplest way on how to make tart shells. They're flaky and buttery, suitable for both sweet and savoury tarts. It's my go-to recipe and I've been using it for all my tarts. Do try!

Is it easy to remove the crust from the mold?did u put oil/grease the mold before putting the crust?

Ha ha...I didn't even have to chill the dough after mixing. Straight away molded in pan, pricked with fork and into freezer for 10 mins and baked. Perfecto!!😁 TQVM for easy peasy recipe 🙏

Do you have to grease the tart molds prior to using them? How easy is it to remove the tart shells after baking without them cracking,?

Is a tart shell the same as a pie shell? Some recipes ask for frozen or very cold butter while making pies while a few recipes like yours ask for softened butter. I am very confused about this and would appreciate your reply! Thanks! And love your channel btw!😀

Cold in pie crusts to prevent melting fat into the flour b4 baking; this melting of fat while baking (+ a bit of vinegar) makes pie crusts tender. A pie crust is more tender that a tart shell.
