Randomopedia is right, this is already such a wonderful song, too much messing around would ruin it. This on the other hand, treads lightly and the result is a pleasure for the ears.

It's ok but this could have been so much better if done with intelligence, but it's nothing but an added beat. The bass doesn't even seem to be changed very much. Why not loop the first line of the chorus over and over. That would seem to be the main reason to do a remix to make the best part last longer.

Are you kidding me? the bass just takes away from the songs original funky upbeat tune. the keyboard in the original is much better. plus you obscure Jeff Lynne's voice, and his vocals are another reason the song is good. what they did took talent, what you did required a program and a few looping beats over it. SMDH.

I agree - the sounds are not balanced enough - this is drum-heavy and the bassline is not pumped to match. Should have been blended more. As for using a program and looping beats - well, it's that or ask ELO to go back into the studio and rerecord this song... take your pick.

Hmmm. These comments are certainly valid. Sure, the original is great, but (IMHO) just a tad “flat response” - usual for the time (late 1970s). This remix offers a fine new version to enjoy.
