I used to sell Eloy's albums in my record shop in Tabriz, Iran in late 70's. I still enjoy Eloy as much as i did a few decades ago. I am glad more people watchin Eloy on KZfaq. A few years ago when i saw just a few hundred views of Eloy's videos, I was surprised. It seems people are finding out about this amazing rock star.

I know them because my older brothers used to listen to their wonderful music. I loved them then and I still do. By the way you lived through one of the best eras of Irans history. I was born just before the revolution.

one of my favorite bands ever..not to knock saying they are the "german floyd", but they took the floydian style, made it way more technical and mystical beyond their dreams. Eloy is amazing.

My favorite album from the band is DAWN ,I listen to Eloy almost 38 years and still enjoy to listen it. I still have all albums on Records

A college friend introduced me to Eloy back in 1983. Awsome space rock. I always find time to listen to Planets and Time To Turn.

My Favorite Prog Rock band of all time.. :) All their albums are soo embodied with concept and inner worlds with soo much to explore.. "Ocean" is an awesome album .

There a city in Iran called Gachsaran. It is almost impossible to find one from the 70s generation who do not know Eloy music. Eloy music is considered today as part of the city's '70s culture

As I have mentioned numerous times Don't limit yourself to just Eloy ! There are others out there beyond your limited scope. I know, I lived it ! I was born in 52, been to Woodstock and still enjoy all that is out there. You don't need mind altering drugs. Just learn to meditate and focus, it will send you there !!!

I am from Iran. y father used to listen to Eloy when I was a child and I as a 30 year-old still listen and enjoy it. They are known in Iranian rock culture.

I first heard Eloy in 1980 when I was stationed in Germany, near Bremen. I have 2 of their albums, which I bought back then. Floating is something special...
