Happy New Year hobbyists one and all! We're super happy and excited to be back for a 2023 full of painting vids, batreps, and all sorts of hobby goodness!
What better way to start off the new year of painting? How about with the Elf Lord who first sent the Fellowship out on their fabled quest to destroy the One Ring once and for all! Lord Elrond of Rivendell!
This is an absolutely beautiful sculpt which perfectly encapsulates the look and feel of Hugo Weaving and Elrond from the films and was a genuine joy to paint in the textbook, customary colours of Rivendell!

Totally incredible. The level of care and attention to detail you extoll is totally up there. I’ve watched many of your tutorials and enjoy them all so far. This one is next level. Very relaxing to watch as well. I’ve used your tutorials to paint Eomer and the Witch King recently as I’m very pleased with the results. Many thanks.

absolutely insane man. I recommend this channel to everyone I know who paints. Thanks for doing these. A Mordor Troll vid would be incredible!! Or painting the Osgiliath ruins

Thank you! I use a combination of Broken toad, Citadel and Artis Opus Brushes

Love the colour scheme and the building of layers. Not loving how stark and defined you layers and highlights are. The model would be elevated if you did smooth transitions imho. Big up for not using an airbrush though. Keep up the good work.
