storm kiln artist is an okay substitute for lions eye diamond in the breach line. Brainfreeze storm count 2 still gives you the treasure to cast it again without the need for LED

Dance of the Many is really good because it's a flashable clone off the top with Elsha. Elsha also has some nice interactions with counterbalance, being able to see what hte card is, flash it into play to change the cmc in order to control more of the board. Card is a house in the deck.

@cedhtv I mean you do your elsha combo or breach. Rhystic and mystic basically stop you. Artifact hate stops your elsha line. Drannith blows. If elsha gets killed once or twice, it feels like you almost lose the game

I definitely have some mild PTSD on this since my buddy made an effort to gilded drake it every game for like a month for the memes

The key is playing elsha late and not relying on her through the mid game

I played both up until recently only on cursed mirror, and I can grab it off Magda as well (mine is the first list mons talks about)

About your point from 12:12 onwards, that isn't the only conclusion you can draw. It could mean that among all Jeskai decks, Elsha is the very best one (under the assumption that all decks that run the combo without Ad Nauseam are pure Jeskai decks because that combo is the best combo that Jeskai decks can run) so if you for some reason really want to play a Jeskai deck, Elsha is the best choice compared to like Jeska Ishai for example. With that said, 9 Elsha decks is still too small a sample size but if it turns out that all those 9 Elsha decks are recent entries, it could be a sign that Elsha decks are favourable in the current meta for some reason. Is that the case?

Being able to tutor something to the top, and your commander gives it flash, lets you combo off at instant speed. This can be done in response to someone comboing off too.

The main problem with this deck is that it attracts cheaters during webcam play. "Oh wow, I got exactly the card I wanted, every game 😊"

??? How lol Having played the deck for years, that does happen, and the amount of cards you see with this commander is higher than others, so you can dig and then stop where you do indeed get the card you needed. It's a storm deck...

Elsha is pretty good, but is really weak against Drannith Magistrate which is almost an autoinclude in every deck with white.

The first list he talked about is mine, drannith and grafdiggers cage (which everyone's running now to deal with kinnan) were in mind with going toward a higher creature count. I was wanting the deck to be able to operate through the mid game without elsha, and found it was best to cast her later in the game anyway.
