After all Elton gave to us I am so happy he was able to have his sons. David is a great guy, they were perfect for each other and now can share parenthood together ! So hgappy for them. Elton went thru so much to finally feel pure love and joy. So so happy for them!

The whole reason Elton is retiring from touring worldwide is so he can take care of his children with David and watch them grow up. As sad as it is that he's on a Farewell Tour, it is very heartwarming to see how abundantly he cares for his children. Both Elton and David are incredibly wonderful and dedicated parents and I hope their little boys know how lucky they are to have such great fathers in their lives.

And he’s not retiring from music. He’ll still work with Bernie, probably make sporadic performances at festivals, small tours that are maybe 3 weeks total, and charity concerts. For 50 years we’ve had Elton John the musical legend. Now we have Elton John the musical legend AND dad.

Any child who is loved, cared for, enjoyed, given their parents time, taught generosity, disciplined firmly and patiently, while being shown a good role model, given respect, taught to respect others, and educated will love their parents and become a person of integrity, courage, compassion, decency, and will become an asset to the world. I was fortunate over 50 years ago to meet an incredibly talented kind young woman whose parents were openly lesbian. Their "marriage " lasted from their 30's until their deaths. They were in their 80's at their deaths and were an amazing couple who had a good impact on everyone and everything that entered their lives

Imagine if every child were given the love and support that Sir Elton and David have and will continue to give Zachary. Each of us has a story or two of growing up with a parent or parents who made missteps, failed to give support yet eager to pounce on our dreams. My husband and I were both products of such and we dedicated our family life to not making the same missteps. We hugged our son with abandon, we supported his dreams with verbal and physical means, we kept the love flowing. And his beautiful tribute to his father at his funeral was, "my father never hit me, never yelled at me and never made me feel less than." Every father at the funeral had a tear or two. And now our son having three children realizes how high the bar was set by his father. Elton and David will dedicate their lives to setting the bar high for Zachary to flourish in his life. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful part of their family. Straight or gay, imagine if every child was blessed with this beautiful love.

I am so happy for all of them! I saw Rocketman and realized what Elton went through was so tough growing up. He and his partner are awesome and for Elton to want to give the children what he did not have growing up says volumes about his character.

His youngest is about 3 years old now. And he's beautiful as his brother. You should look up Zachary now, he'd grown up to be an eight year old Prince. He's gorgeous and have the same light as Elton in his eyes. It's that brightness you can't really explain so I think he's the biological father after all. The circle of life is truly incredible, isn't it...?

And of course he is famous and children comes out years later and tell how horrible parents they had, like with the daughter of Joan Crawford .and others. My problem is their age and had they not been famous, I'm sure others would also see that as a problem. I don't care if they are gay or not, but the boy is 8 now so hopefully they will live till he is 18.

Some of the comments are nasty....i had terrible ( straight ) parents and was abused. I went into childrens homes. I would have loved for ANYONE loving to have adopted me and make sure i was safe. Unfotuatetly this did not happen and i went down the road of drugs and alcholism...now i am clean and sober but i had years where i had no family ( still havent ) I wish there were more people...Straight Gay Black White .... who could be a decent parent instead of church going..straight...adopters...white...racist...judgmental...abusive horrible people that neglect children. I was adopted and know how difficult it is to not understand about your biological background, but at least I could search to find out and when I did I felt better. It must be worse for people who have eggs from one woman and implanted into another

Sorry to hear you had such a tuff time growing up. I'm glad you found your inner strength. It's sad how the lack of understanding, compassion, and knowledge runs this world. I hate to say this but I'm only a fan of a free people in this world. I think so many people are ugly inside and they find any and every way to lie and hide it. We suppose to care for , help and love each other as a human race. You may hear of people doing good things , but if you peel off their skin you will see ugly. These two men are beautiful. You can feel it when they speak you can see it in their eyes. People are going to focus on them being gay? Not the fact that they love this baby? That this baby will sure to always be loved , safe and happy? Nope! Forget that whole picture..let's focus on the fact they are gay. The baby isn't important. People are just ignorant . Christianity my friend has evolved..it has done that through time scientific discovery and public debate...they no longer execute people for working on the Sabbath etc..we now have books on the diversity and complexity of human sexuality written by experts called sexologists ..intelligent people usually adapt to new findings...I have no doubt the Christian lady embraces the central message of Christianity kindness understanding and forgiveness without taking on board some of the stuff in the bible( a book written by mere mortals..80 I believe) that is now no longer applicable to modern living...did you sleep with you're wife before you married her ??..I think you get my drift.

God loves humanity, He loves Everyone so much he gave his only son to die on a cross here on earth to try to explain to us that even in the face of torcher and death He still loves us all. He walks on the journey called life with us, guiding and directing us, I’ve committed sin, don’t know many who haven’t actually even seems to be very prevalent in the “church world” imo yet he still chooses to love us and walk with us. I don’t want to make people angry, However if you struggle with that extra bite of food you know you shouldn’t have or the worst sin you could imagine, He never leaves us he’s there with us regardless. I’ll leave the judgement to God as He alone knows the true intensions of the heart. For now, for me I will love God and love people always. ♥️
