My father passed away this morning after a long struggle. This was the last song that he requested us to listen to. I will always love him and cherish everything he has taught me.

My Daddy sent this song to me before he passed from cancer in January 2020. I was by his side when he passed. I know this loss. I miss him every day.

I remember being pregnant with my son and was scared about whether or not I'd be a good parent. I was about to take a nap and was asking the universe if I was ever going to be a good mother, afraid I wouldn't be maternal enough. I dreamed of this very song and it has always stayed with me since. He is 10 now and I I am truly blessed to have him in my life. ❤❤❤

Вы 30 лет слушаете его музыку и сейчас все-таки выдавили из себя "надо признать". Типа не очень-то и хотелось выдавать и крошки похвалы этому проходимцу, пусть и дальше развлекает меня бесплатно, он у меня под вопросом... I am 57 and a life long hard rocker. Elton John is still a go to for beautiful music. Him and Bernie were a match made in some other more intelligent universe. I go all the way back to Madman on the water. Love Elton John. One of the best. Ever.

I think this song is about God creating mankind, world's creation and the relationship between God and humans. Elton appears like an energy running the world and talking to mankind about how their mean to Him (God).

I remember being 12 in 1995 and hearing this song on the radio around the time that my mom had a miscarriage… it’s a great song and it’s emotional on its own, but with what was going on at the time it was even more profound to my 12 year old self. Perhaps one day I’ll see that sibling that I never got to meet.

When princess Diana died, I was listening to a local station in Phoenix and the song was playing when they were recording comments about princess Diana. I will never ever forget that to this day.
