1:41 That right there should prove to anyone that his surgery didn't ruin his voice, but actually saved it. I don't know why people keep spreading that myth, when there are many examples of him even singing with falsettos after the surgery. If anything, smoking too much pot hurt his voice more than the surgery. I think he sounds better in 1989 than in a lot of 85-86' gigs. Great video!

That's so true... The 1988 concert in Chicago is one of my favorite Elton John concerts vocally!

i disagree with the 85 part but he definitely sounds better than the november and december 1986 shows lol his 87-early 1988 and post rehab 1990 voice is angelic
