And another thing... If Sir Elton John was NOT known around the world, do you really believe he would of been invited to perform at the Ephesus Amphitheatre in Turkey?! That place isn't known for promoting unknown/up and rising stars. Only the most acclaimed and truly musically gifted has performed at the Ephesus Amphitheatre.

@jc333jc He actually just performed with Ray Cooper in January 2011 at the Royal Opera House in London, so I'd say they're pretty much on the same level... search KZfaq for "Elton John Rocket Man Royal Opera House 2011."

What does being an American have anything to do with knowing "Sir" Elton John? Yes, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth! You can't really say that Elton John is known only in America. Forget the countless "#1 Hits", if you don't know Elton John then I'd say you don't know much of music in general. He performed at Princess Diana's funeral for God's sake! I'm not trying to be rude by any means, but I find it very hard to believe that you don't know Elton John...
