The evergreen growls of Chrigel with amazing high pitched vocals of Fabienne are incredible. Video and the whole atmosphere is great. Enjoying listening to you guys since 2007 ❤️ Chrigel Glanzmann commented: “Definitely one of the harshest Eluveitie songs ever. It’s the sheer consequence of our spiritual journey with Ategnatos: we’re no longer a “Celtic Metal” band… a metal band singing about Celtic history. So sad to see Michalina Malisz leaving the band and would miss her on tours, but the songs relased so far is bangers and 'Aidus' reminds me of 'From Darkness' from the Origins album. Can't wait for the new album

I didn't hear that Michalina Malisz had left, that makes me so sad, I love the Hurdy Gurdy covers she does on her KZfaq channel, and that was also one of the things got me into Eluveitie because I'd never heard anything like Folk Metal before Eluveitie and the Hurdy Gurdy was one of the things I thought was most unique. Hopefully whoever they bring in next is great too.

Why I fell in love with this music group is their approach to creating songs, the melody and the story of the event, everything is harmoniously combined and I like it. Eluveitie you are beyond compare.

I appreciate the lyrics because they can be hard to decipher. Also appreciate that this doesn’t have the same exact imagery of the first video

Love this version! I'm gunna spend ages unpacking the lyrics and the meaning behind them. love the celtic battle chant that's used also, I can imagine the Helvetii people chanting this at the battle of Bibracte. Especially towards the end where the Boii and Tulingi made their final stand at the laager. I can just see the women and children chanting defiantly from the wagons while the men valiantly fight to defend them.

Yeah, they probably sung this chant and they sharpebed their swords. Times have changed though.. but we‘re still here: Celts, pagans. Today it‘s not about Helvetii or Boii anymore. But this doesn’t make the battle less real! It’s not about borders anymore. But still about life and freedom! Today we need to stand united, as Vercingetorix wanted it for the gallic tribes. Pagans united. The battle is for life, for truth, for love. Anu is the mother goddess, mother to the gods, Anu is mother nature. The battle is about her throne today! To rise and put her back to where she belongs: On the throne aboves us all. Unless this happens we‘re all sentenced to death anyway. But it will happen! For life, for love, for all living things… for the gods! …that’s more or less what this song is about. cheers chrigel
