I gave my top metal albums some thought and by pure coincidence both bands are in my top 5. 1. The Satanist by Behemoth. 2. Helvetios by Eluveitie. 3. The Eye of Providence by The Agonist. 4. Origins by Eluveitie. 5. Cruelty and the Beast by Cradle of Filth.

Yea. Drinking water always helps. I always forget about that by the end of 2-hours rehersal. And yea, imitating sound and recording youself sure is much more useful than 2-3 times aweek with a vocal coach. Its better when you listen to youself and try to correct yourself, than when teacher does tha half of the work.

P.S. I think there are vice versa situations. I mean you sait when you stop progressing youself in singing, then seek professional help from a teater. There are also kinds of situations when you got all the basic skills with your teacher and stopped pregressing, go record youself and work on your vocal by yourself.
