Dude same, I really wish these guys would get the recognition they deserve, they have put out some of the most compelling rock music of the last couple decades but still continue to be underground as hell. But I still listen to them almost every day, keep it going Elvenking, you guys rule!

This is just music, close your eyes, the videos only limit your perspective, create your own fantasy about the music, then when you have it set in your mind, give the video a look. But not till you are happy with your inner power metal self. Nobody can dislike this music. Everyone says "This isn't my cup of Tea" No shit, it's power metal, It's MY cup of tea!!

+Nick I don't think you have the best idea of what metalcore is...metalcore is a mix of extreme metal and punk. First off, this is not an extreme song whatsoever. There is no arguing around that. It really wasn't punk either - on the contrary, it is very toned down, and is not what you would hear from bands like The Offspring or Green Day (pretending that Green Day's 2000-present albums don't exist, as many of the songs on those albums aren't really punk). Admittedly, Elvenking went a little more mainstream and commercialized with this album, and most were upset with it, but in no way is this "edgy failed metalcore". This is a power/folk metal song; power because of the uplifting sounds compared to heavy metal and the theme of the song, and folk metal because of the violin used in a non-orchestra way. Most people would call this a failure because of what the band is known for and how this pales in comparison, but that's opinion. For reference, actual examples of metalcore are: I'm From the Government and I'm Here to Help - CMXIX Low Peaks - Restless The Sorrow - Retracting Memories War of Ages - Collapse Why Lazy - Dying in the Dream Hope this helps.

These have such a great sound. It's amazing, i haven't heard such a good band in ages. Everyday im bumping into band after band, I bumped into these about a week ago, and like they are so amazing it's untrue. I have listened to most of their songs and not one is a let down. 11/10 Band. This song has such a strong meaning and is insane. The video means so much aswell. :)
