Elvenking is a rare example of a band that realized they went a bit off the rails and redeemed themselves. This album sounds promising so far, and The Pagan Manifesto was amazing too!

It's uniquely introspective, has wonderful melodies and choruses, some of the best vocals and lyricism. I love the themes, the atmosphere... I just find it moving and relatable. I have to roll my eyes when people complain about Elvenking's stylistic changes... there are plenty of bands who release the same generic album over and over again if that's what you're into.
