I remember Elvin Bishop from the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. Elvin is a character and continues to be a favourite performer on the cruise.

I Saw ELVIN BISHOP open for ZZ TOP in Jacksonville FL in 1976 and have been a hardcore fan and admirer ever since !! The consumate performer and guitarists. That man lets the guitar do the work.

For all the Elvin fans - December 1969 as I was being released from the USMC in San Francisco I found Elvin and Michael Bloomfield alternating nights at Keystone Korner. Incredible music and a cozy atmosphere... had a beer at the bar with Elvin. Sadly, not Bullfrog Beer.

Grateful for the find. Saw Elvin @ the Bottom Line in NYC in the mid 70s. As Elvin said, "Looks like thid place is gonna be a mess." May have been the best concert I ever went to.

Went and saw Deep Purple Long Beach arena California 17yrs old 1975. Elvin Bishop was second Band!! I thought he should of been 1st!! Love him. Concerts were so inexpensive back then, as a youth you could really enjoy live music!!! Was a grate time to be young!!!! Peace n Love to all. Happy Holidays

One of the last of the great band leaders . His band always swings which is something the younger bands just don't seem to have.
