@@KatokpohahauIta Priscilla knew that and still stayed with him. All the guys we’re hanging around everyday at Graceland. She hated that, but stayed. Her goal was to nab Elvis. It was all about fame and money to her. She was the one who had an affair first. She had sex with the karate instructor Elvis introduced her to. He was married and his wife was pregnant. What does that say about the kind of person Priscilla was and still is.

Priscilla did not leave him because of other women. She tries to say that now, but in her book she said that if Elvis had affairs, she did not know it. That is just one of her weak excuses for leaving him. I think she really left him because her marriage had matured financially and she wanted to get the settlement and go into show business.

Elvis just liked female company full stop. That's not to say he dated every girl he met, he loved having ladies and his friends back at his house to eat chat and sing around his piano, it's well documented his parents or grandmother would be there., he was a very social individual. At this time he may not have met Priscilla though. Anita and him did love each other, she waited for him till he came back from Germany, it just didnt work out for them sadly, apparently he sobbed when she left him. She is coming across very naggy here, she,s actually pushing him away from her but she can't see it.

Wow. I find it disturbing that she recording this conversation. No doubt she was the only one between the two of them that was aware of this at the time. Regardless of their topic of frustration with each other (Elvis dating other women are not) nothing excuses underhandedly recording conversation the way that she did. No wonder many people said Elvis got to wear he couldn't trust half the people he was around throughout the years. There actually was quite a bit of this type of stuff going on. There isn't one of us out there that would like to find out an argument with our significant other (regardless of what the subject or topic was) , there's not one of us would like to find out we were being recorded. We hear Elvis on the defensive with her regarding her accusation of having other women in his life. Typical of ANYONE in that situation. But also makes you wonder a little bit about the type of person Anita herself was too for feeling need in 1960 to record the call.

@@darlenegriffin9891 ok "Anita" 😉 Your viewpoint towards this reminds me of someone I recently had face-to-face conversation with regarding the very subject of someone secretly recording a phone call between themselves and another person (without the other person's consent). When I was done with them they ran screaming from the room in hysterics. Although everyone else in the room, both men and women, applauded my response and agreed with me, on principle. (Anyone that researches why this is widely considered such an unethical action, realizes how ridiculous it is to try to justify). People that think like yourself seem to be suffering from a bit of a psychosis. Anybody that would date a living sex symbol and not realistically prepare themselves for the fact that the opposite sex would regularly be throwing themselves at them and the likelihood that their famous partner would end up hurting them, seems laughable and extremely naive to me. There were women that dated Elvis that spoke about this themselves. They knew there was constant temptation always around Elvis and it came with the territory. But the huge gap of difference between the way they handled it, compared to the way Anita did is Oceans separating countries. Repeat after me - "If someone suspects their partner of cheating they can address it with them, or break up with them. However, secretly recording the conversation to possibly share in the future for any reason is unethical and unacceptable, regardless of the feelings of frustration or hurt. It is a sleazy move and makes the person that secretly recorded the conversation no better than the partner they are upset with for cheating". Repeat until starts to sink in

You know his post army 1960 interview when he came back home and said there was no "special one" in Germany, he was probably giving her (Anita) an obvious shout out, but I bet Priscilla was fuming mad at that, because she was still over there possibly pining away for him, thinking he was gonna forget all about her. Maybe it meant Priscilla was just a sort of companion, not a girlfriend, yet. She made him feel far less homesick, I think. This shouldn’t have been posted for the simple reason of the judgemental idiots that will respond to it. Yeah we know Elvis played around but that was the way he was! Deal with it, and to be honest if you have someone constantly on at you then no wonder he went else where. Not saying cheating is ok but try seeing ELVIS’S point of view. Elvis shouldn’t have to change for no body

It really astonishes me, how many people take Elvis`s side in this. Nobody, not Elvis, not even Jesus has the right to hurt another human being. Elvis broke so many hearts and there`s nothing funny about that. I truly hope he suffered a lot when Priscilla left him. So many people are saying bad and evil things about Priscilla. There`s only one mistake she made and that was that she has stayed for too long. She should have left him much, much earlier. People like Elvis shouldn`t have any kind of permanent relationship.

Elvis was never out to hurt anyone and he was not perfect and never claimed to be but no one not no one has the right to tell Elvis or anybody what they can or can’t do. Maybe if girls weren’t always on at him they might have gotten somewhere. And Priscilla was no saint because she knew what she was in for. Yes cheating isn’t right but at the same time that’s just how he was. Only God has the right to judge and now Elvis has passed all that’s been acquitted anyway.

Priscilla now uses "Elvis' other women"' as one of her many lame excuses for leaving him. She is lieing when she says that. In her original book, Elvis and ME, she said that if Elvis had affairs she did not know it. In my opinion, she left him because since the day she married him, she had planned to stay with him long enough to get that "movie star" settlement, then leave him and go into show business. She stayed just long enough to get the financial settlement, five years in California, then left him, got her money, and got herself a movie agent.
