By the way, have you seen this video ? (link below) It’s a chat at DC with Jerry Schilling and a guy who worked with Nixon. They speak about this crazy idea of EP meeting Nixon. It’s soooo funny!!! Jerry remember how EP called him in the night to travel to DC… there are a lot of crazy details about EP . Acording to Joyce, EP was in DC looking for her after they had a bad moment in Las Vegas on August. Joyce says that Jerry was the one who called to the Capitol to found her. But in this video, Jerry denies that EP was looking for Joyce. She now says that Jerry denies her version because he’s loyal to Priscilla. Anyway, it’s a great video and I’m sure it would be a great recomendation for all who love EP kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kMd9rKuom7TJiKM.html

@@ElvisistheMan_ I agree. Out of all the lovely ladies he dated, he married the worst one & dearly regretted it. Pricilla always wanted stardom herself since her mother wanted it for her too. Pricilla has another child & a long term relationships with other that she tries to keep in the dark. She cheated on Elvis & claims he had a complex about mothers. I think he didn't want to be with ANY woman who had someone else. Thus the virgin prefer.

@@Somee989 I definitely agree with you in the aspect that Priscilla was the worst woman of all and that he made a big mistake marrying her, but I think he wouldn’t have married her if he didn’t love her. I am pretty sure Elvis loved Priscilla otherwise why would he marry her? And Elvis cheated a lot on Priscilla so it‘s normal that she also cheated due to loneliness. Imagine your man is constantly cheating on you, doesn’t sleep with you and doesn’t give you attention I am sure she just felt super lonely and desperate so she did that…Although cheating is bad and she should have just left him instead of cheating but nonetheless cheating is a very bad personality trait that both Priscilla and Elvis has so they both are equally toxic and bad for each other. They were definitely not compatible at all. A Capricorn and Gemini will never work out it‘s a match made in hell. He should have married another woman but it‘s hard to be married to someone like Elvis Presley, someone who has a huge Zeus complex, someone who is extremely stubborn and doesn’t listen to anyone, bipolar personality and kinda narcissistic at times although very altruistic. He was a very good and kind person but to women he just was a huge player. He could never stay loyal to any woman no matter how perfect she is. I am sure even if Elvis met his soulmate and who is absolutely beautiful he would still cheat. It‘s just his nature. He hated confrontation and he wanted to cheat and wanted his woman to accept it but God forbid the woman cheats on him. He was emotionally not very mature and pretty irresponsible. Cheaters are always irresponsible and selfish people. Elvis was very faulty too not just Priscilla.

@@Somee989 It doesn't make sense that he had an aversion to mothers as much as he loved his own mother. There is no dedication so it's only her claim. How can you just go on what she said? Why put it on here? Also my volume is on full, the audio is bad, but definately no dedication. I don't think Joyce's book is legitimate at all.

Another great episode! I bought her book thanks to your reference to it. I received the Steve Binder book last Friday. I’ve been a fan of Elvis since a toddler thanks to my older brothers. My parents use to hire a beach house down at a place called Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne AUS during the Christmas / Summer holidays during the late 60s early 70s. I have the memory of my brother standing at the mantle where the radio was holding me as a tiny boy on his hip telling me this is Elvis’s latest hit...it was 1972 and it was Burning Love. From there I was indoctrinated into the fandom family of Elvis.

Joyce’s book is a fascinating read. I highly recommend it. She was also enamored with the song, “Until It’s Time For You To Go” which ultimately it became time for her too to “go”. She states in her book that she became pregnant during her affair with Elvis and had the pregnancy terminated. She indeed was concerned about Elvis’s increasing reliance on prescribed medication, but that didn’t preclude her from becoming dependent on Elvis’s favorite sleep aide at the time…Placidyl which she too, according to her book, became reliant on for hypnotic sleep, during their time together.

According to Sonny, when EP had a problema with his eyes (glaucoma), he spend some days with Barbara and when she had to go to LA, EP called Joyce… As we say in Mexico, EP had a “condo hearth”, there were room for a lot of women. For me this is so sad because, in my opinion, he felt so lonely that he has to search a woman after another woman. In fact, sometimes he even hadn’t sex with them, he just nedeed a woman by his side… after taking is Placidyl (😢),

Wow someone else who knows so much even though you were not there and all you have is second hand information. Elvis is not here he doesn't get the chance to say whether this is garbage or not. We have no idea whether anything anyone says about him is true or not he is dead anyone can say anything they want truth or not. Don't believe anyone who writes a book about Elvis, it's for money of course they embellish ( lie)

And she never told him. When she planed ton tell him about the baby, Joyce ask EP how was Lisa Marie and then he spoke about Priscilla and why, in his very particular opinion, when a woman has a child, she has not a sexual attire any more. So she quiet and back DC had an abortion. Joyce is from a very conservative Italian catholic family and her mother was very strict and they had a terrible relationship.

@@rayshom, you are missing the point here, obviously. There is no doubt in my mind that Elvis was and will remain one of the greatest musicians in the history of mankind, but at the end of the day, he was human and open to flaws and faults like you and me.
