Elvis did this almost 54 years ago, and it's still cool. Great song + superb talent = timeless classic.

Boy, did I wear a groove in this song when I was about 10 years old. And, can you believe, it was never a big single hit. I had to buy the Jailhouse Rock soundtrack on a 45 with little bitty grooves (3 songs on a side) and wore out the first copy. It could have been a monster single if RCA had released it that way. Elvis ... You will always be the KING!

Elvis in the 50's forced America to dance to a new music, and dance we did! He invented dance moves, he invented the music video, he didnt invent rock, but he sure perfected it!
