When I was in school in the 80s there were kids who wanted to be thought of as cool so they'd use Elvis Presley's way of talking, saying ' man ' at the end of every sentence. I didn't even realize at the time that it was an Elvis imitation. That was just the accepted way to talk if you wanted to be thought of as cool. He was the most influential performer of them all.

Our Elvis was such a special and compassionate man! He cared about people. He showed such love to that little girl, and made her heavy load a little lighter. 😢 and of course the Hollywood woke would purposely leave this scene out of the documentary "Elvis on Tour" so the world couldn't see it! But it seems like they would have presented him with those awards while he was on stage or at an award show. I guess times were just different back then IDK, but he definitely deserved them. Every time I see the video of the little girl named Denise...I wonder if that was hard for Elvis to go on stage after meeting her. Elvis had such a kind heart. I always love the videos of him being sweet to the kids. Letting them up on stage or giving them gifts. It's so sweet. Good job putting these videos together.
