My dad and I *were* driving down the road and had stopped at a red light the first Christmas after momma died , this song came on the radio and my daddy just broke down thinking about momma. This song Always takes me back to that day in 1974 and I always shed a few tears. 😢 Merry Christmas to all 🎄✝ 2021

My aunt is leaving the hospital with hospice today. She is the one who turned me on to Elvis when I was 5. That was 59 years ago. As I prepare myself for losing her I'm playing Elvis music for her. This just came on my playlist as I cried my eyes out while she comforted me. Thanks Elvis for helping us deal with it all. 😢

Just got on the video after they played it on Sirius XM Holiday Tradition Channel. When I heard it it reminded me of them blue memories that I was with my grandma when I was about 15 and 14 yrs old. And now my last Christmas Day was a year ago before she died from Cadiac Arrest also Ovarian Cancer back in July of this year.

Much like the moonlit path that only the Rose of San Antone would know there would be quite a few things knocked over along either side of such a path by who must surely be a master at recreating noises of animals or other more plausible explanations for loud noises along the path.. Animal noises that eradicate members of the rodent family which might have the Rose of San Antone standing on the only piece of furniture which appears to be left in the place upon your arrival have been popular in times past.

This is a MUST on December 1st. Its not Christmas until I hear it. Edit to add: this was always my daddys favorite christmas song. He passed away in april this year. Daddy i love and miss you. My grandma loved Elvis more than any human I've ever met. She passed the 26th of December 2022 and I never stop thinking of her, her amazing smile and laugh and the way she always was and will be my rock and angel ❤️ I love you Grandma and hope you are dancing to elvis live now ❤️

My wife and I were going home from work in the wintry Northeast where we worked (many years ago) It was cold and snowy. We stopped at a dinner / cafe for some hot soup. This song was played loudly on a jukebox right next to me. It was all I could do to cover my emotions because this song conjured up so many distant and special memories of my lost loved ones. I noticed some were starring. This song is and always will be special to me. I make no apologies. I’m grateful for my special memories.

This brings memories when my family lived in an alley. Where people would throw their trash. We got used to the smell. We lived there because my dad left for another woman. One morning later, We had to hitch hike very early in the morning to avoid my dad returning. He was a wife beater. I remember An 18-wheller picked us up and took us to the next gas station. (1960). My brother was 7, Iwas 6 and younger brother was 2. I praised GOD for my humble beginnings.

It was a bitter cold morning in N. C. My dad and I had just visited his brother on Christmas morning. I was about ten, this song came on the radio driving home. It was seared into my spirit. From that year on, I’ve never felt like Christmas was complete unless I heard this song. I’m now past mid 70’s and if I have to go to u-tube to hear this every year, I do. I miss my dad and those precious memories. God bless all.

Millie is actually taking the piss. Elvis wasnt that keen on the song & said to his gang, like "okay, lets get this over with, everyone join in, do what you wanna do." Millie started yodeling & Elvis laughed "keep it in." the downside ,if any, Elvis had to get a female singer to yodel every time he did the song & Millie got a one off Session Musicians fee for her contribution.

I’m just now learning to cook in my old age, necessary from about two years ago. The first thing I do, regardless of time of year, is put on Christmas music when I’m trying to learn Chief. Also, when I’m just relaxing. These are such wonderful songs, especially the older ones. Blessings

Elvis' rendition of "Blue Christmas" is definitely the best rendition of it. Elvis surely had a unique singing voice and Elvis was surely also unique. There definitely won't ever be a greater singer or performer than Elvis. Elvis will truly always remain The King of music and entertainment.
