He treated everyone like they mattered equally. From the janitor to the president no one was more important to him. He had his share of problems but never forgot poverty nor being overlooked in life. When his x wife was asked in an interview what they greatest thing she learned from him was she said "how to treat people." Not sure if she practiced it but that's what she said.

I also saw on the spa guy ( spa guy has lots of Elvis info on you tube) ELVIS & his girlfriend would sneek out of their church on Sunday and go across the street to a Black church and listen to the music then go back to theirs. That would have been in the 50's? I love Elvis stories.
