Elvis Presley’s Birthplace - Tupelo, MS | Home, Tupelo Hardware, Johnie’s Drive-In & More!

In today’s video we head to the birthplace of the king of rock n’ roll, Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi and even though the house was closed, we were still able to walk around his childhood house and the park dedicated to Elvis. We also visited Tupelo Hardware, where Elvis got his first guitar from. Before heading home we grabbed a quick bite at Johnie’s BBQ drive-in where Elvis frequented after school.

That was very interesting. i went to graceland and we talked to his uncle who i guess was looking after the grounds at the time. of course that was also 30 years ago lol. we travelled to all these places in one trip but it was awesome!

Tupelo is a fun little town. I’ve never been to the Elvis birthplace. I need to change that. Come to think I don’t think I’ve been to the actual downtown area.
