I am glad that Ginger Alden was able to be with Elvis and they had good times together.

I think Ginger keeping out of the spot light was a respectful thing to do for Elvis and for Herself.

I read Ginger Alden’s book and have no reason to doubt Elvis loved her. Could it be that some in Elvis’s EMPLOY found Ginger to be a threat? Some people just don’t like change….and as Elvis’s wife, Ginger could definitely bring on some change. As far as Priscilla…..She had her time with Elvis….But she was NOT the only one. I think she’s interjecting herself in all things Elvis in order to create a legacy of her own.

I read Ginger’s book. She seemed a very sweet girl, very young, maybe 20, who fell for Elvis, and wanted to help him. I loved the book. I do Genealogy & found that Elvis was my 8th cousin through his Grandma Minnie. Since then I’ve enjoyed learning more about his life.

Sometimes you can only hold things in so long. She needed to just unburden her heart!

Ginger has not sold her engagement ring. She had it with her during her Today Show interview in 2014. Look up the video and you will see it. She did sell some of the other rings that Elvis gave her but has kept the engagement ring. Also, she does not live in Memphis.

They weren’t aware of each other at the time but Elvis encouraged Linda to fly home that day ( so he could bring Ginger to his room for the rest of his tour ) Linda knew of Elvis infidelity’s and very soon after this they split, it was then that Elvis and Ginger continued their relationship. This was all in Linda and Ginger’s autobiography.. highly recommend these books 😊

I honestly don't know what to think anymore about ANY of these people, guys/women & their stories or books about ELVIS. For the most part, I think the majority are using his name & making money off of him even after death. But it's complicated, as there are a few, including Ginger's that might be interesting to read, since she was with him during those last months. I do however have to ask the question on any of the books, would Elvis want these written & these private details in a book? Or if you really loved/love him, then why write about it, if you think he would not want this talked about. I mean he bought GRACELAND, so he could have a private place to live, when he was not on tour or making movies etc. And he gave us his music with his GOD-GIVEN talents. I actually like his interviews so much, there's a video called In His Own Words, it's really good & you can learn things about him from him, not hearsay or second hand info. Very interesting, honest & revealing. I tend to focus on the good things ELVIS left us, he was a human being with his own set of challenges, problems, stresses & flaws like the rest of us. But he had an amazing voice & lovely vocal range, his gospel songs touch the very soul, when you hear them. How Great Thou Art was sung to honor God. So be kind, if you knew him personally--we his fans love him no matter what & I will always feel joy listening to his songs or seeing his movies or interviews or hearing his awesome laugh. What's not to love?! As for Ginger, she seems sincere, and did wait a very long time before writing about Elvis, so I give her points for that. But if they were engaged, I don't think he would have really ever married again, but only Elvis knows that for sure. I do think he was very hurt by Priscilla leaving & their divorce, she left him, she divorced him, but I think there was love between them, as she had his only child. And lastly, I think Elvis would have been happier being a gospel singer, as that was his true dream & he would have still been famous with his incredible voice! But it happened differently & we are blessed to hear his songs etc. And I believe he's in Heaven singing with the Angels & is happy! He was in fact the GREATEST singer ever!

I couldn't understand how a woman who proclaimed to love Elvis so much, wouldn't check on him until 2:00pm. He was in there for hours!! I believe it was 8 hours. Before she called anyone for help, she did her makeup and called her mother. WTH?? Who does that? After a ½ hour, most people would've been knocking on that bathroom door, asking if he was alright. Then checking on him every ½ hour afterwards. Linda Thompson always took care of him. This wouldn't have happened under her watch.
