Sorry, I don't agree......lots of soundtrack songs are just not worthy of being called an Elvis-song......Elvis didn't get any good material in the sixties (Roy Oribison offered "Only The Lonely" to Elvis)((just imagine what it would sound like if Elvis recorded it)......most people from the British invasion wrote their own music/songs. When Elvis recorded a song he dipped it in his soul, before sharing it with the world (that is why not other artist could compair/get close to the #1 artist. If Elvis sang a song it was/would be his.

He was under paid for vegas, 50% to Parker, under sold out by Parker and rca. Still made a fortune but should've had much more and not worked so much. But Parker stealing his money meant he had no choice. Probably wasn't as rich as this clip made out despite what he generated. In 1977 apparently only had a million left so this video might be incorrect.

Bloggers often rely on various estimates from different public sources when assessing celebrities' net worth. However, it's important to remember that millionaires typically do not disclose the exact amount of money they have in their accounts or invested, nor are they obligated to do so. Additionally, the value of investments can fluctuate over time, further contributing to discrepancies in reported net worth figures. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

@@UnchainedFinance I have countless stories of generosity regarding money, emotional support, and influence, which he gave of himself, his time and money. For instance he campaigned against the polio epidemic, killing and maiming countless children. He encouraged them to take the polio vaccine. When he did, vaccine takers went from 2 percent to 87 percent, wiping out polio in the USA The HHS of the USA credits Elvis with eradicating polio. Nobody ever had that kind of influence. In 1956 , he made about three or four sentences request. That was for the millions watching the show to send their favorite church or charity money to save 50 million starving Ukranians. In today's money, about one billion dollars were sent upon his one simpler request .He is a hero in Ukraine, where a statute is erected in his honor. In Memphis alone, he supported 50 charities. He and Danny Thomas started St.Judes Children Hospital. He opened the doors of Graceland at Christmas to people in need, listened to their stories and wrote them checks. He visited orphanages and flooded them with thousands of teddy bears sent him by fans..He would visit fans whose dying wish was to see him He visited jails at Christmas and gave wisdom from the Bible, for with his photographic memory, he had the Bible memorized, word for word.He gave money for court costs and bails and Christmas money for their families. He gave away 200 cadillacs , numerous trucks, horses, motorcycles,, many homes, paid kidney transplants, hospital bills, college educations, jewelry, weddings, vacations, clothes, furniture etc.He met a young black lady looking at cars in a car lot.She had no money.Realizing that, he handed her the keys to a new car, gave he a job at Graceland and paid her college education. The famous singer Jackie Wilson had hardly any one showing up for his Vegas concert.Elvis started attending nightly.Word got out.The Crowds came.Jackie Wilson got a huge jump on his career. When Jackie dief, Elvis kept visitor food in Jackie's hospital room, paid his hospital bill and funeral expense. He gave the widow about 100k in today's money. He is responsible mostly for his fans donating funds to erect the Pearl Harbor Memorial. There are countless stories of his generosity..too many to tell Elvis fans believe he was sent by God to give joy and emotional support to his fans .People attempting suicide heard his music playing and reversed their decision. One person followed him across America for his concert years in response of gratitude. Elvis is the most popular human this world has ever known. The world still loves him, the person, his kindness, and his music.More proof, the only place the Prime Minister wanted to visit here was Graceland.Pres. Bush took this huge fan there. His music, forty seven years since passing ,is still going platinum. He is number three most streamed artist and the only one in the top ten that has passed.Graceland is the most visited private home, second, to the White House. He gave the first live satellite concert performance ever given. It was viewed in over forty countries, with about 1,5 billion viewers when world population was about 3,2 billion Nobody has ever come close to this.More saw it than the moon landing. I saw it and saw him twice in concert. Finally, his fan base was every age from two to ninety, every race, sex and nationality. His influence and popularity were so great that both Republicans and Democrats wanted his as VP candidate in a presidential contest.I can go on and on about his unbelievable talent, which is immense. But I am discussing his generosity. There never was or will be another like this wonderful man,,I think of him as one of many prophets that is sent to us from Heaven above.I never mentioned how he was the highest paid actor of his time and the wonderful contributions there. I never mentioned he was drafted when the US had no draft and what a model soldier he was, his dangerous military position, his generosity to the men around him.He came back to the sates even more popular than ever because he was considered a hero.He is my hero still and is for countless millions worldwide.

You got a lot of happenings like the comeback special in the wrong year, a lot of figures are wrong also for instance the selling of his cataologue to rca was not 1 million dollars in 1973, it was 5,4 million dollars, and at time of his premature death he had not like 25 million dollars, but only like just over one million dollars. He had 16#1 hits, no it was actually 18, with Suspicious Minds his last one during his lifetime and a few additional like a little less conversation featuring JXL . The estate is still making at least 40 million a year.

This video is so full of mistakes, and false claims, that it is beyond ludicrous. Elvis never toured outside the US, except for a few concerts in Canada in 1957. His NBC-TV special was in 1968. His 33 movies was not «wildly succesful», some of them actually lost money. His documentary «Elvis On Tour» did not rake in 40 mill USD, not even close. It did win a «Golden Globe»-award. When Elvis sold the right to his «back-catalogue» in 1973, he did receive that one million. The deal is considered one of the worst business decisions in music history, casting his heirs a fortune in royalties. The Colonel got around 2,5 mill USD, Elvis got the million, and the IRS took the rest. Total cost for RCA, his record company, was 5,4 mill USD, a sum they would earn back hundreds of times in the years to come. When Elvis died in 1977, he was almost broke, this is well known. He had even borrowed money, putting up Graceland as «collateral».
