You must check polish music group Percival - it's song from their album (I mean their interpretation) and yes, it was in the Witcher (as many others), and yes - it's Croatian xD They perform many different Slavic songs, I love them! To alleviate the confusion,, Alina is a Russian artist. The song is a Croatian folk song from island Krk. It's in an old local dialect. She's performing it exceptionally well.

A lot of analytics predict that if they fail with Cyberpunk the company will be 99% chance restructured with 50% of employees fired or even closed because CDPR has no backup plan as other projects even in pre-development stage.

I get that for us who speak one of the Slavic languages, pronouncing words in other Slavic languages isn't all that too difficult, but oh. my. God. Alina absolutely amazes me, it's quite difficult to notice the slight misspronounciations (there are some, of course, but they are incredibly minute) even for someone whose native language Croatian is. And don't even get me started on the sheer amount of instruments she can use... Fantastic job Alina, keep it up!

This song is on Central-čakavian ikavian dialect of Čakavian language which is spoken in areas around the city of Rijeka known as Kvarner region. Where I live people speak Northernčakavian ekavian dialect, but I also understand Central-čakavian. И вообще - украинцы, русские и беларусы - братья навсегда. Не стоит оскорблять целую нацию из-за одного человека, чем-то тебе не понравившимся.

Fun fact, Naranca doesn't literally just translate as orange in this song.It means witch. Ginger girls with longer noses were suspected to be witches (we didn't burn them,they were both respected,loathed and feared in Croatia)

I heard some people did kill witches for their personal revenge but it was never full scale organised burning like in Europe.There were isolated cases of vampirism too,first European Vampire was Jure Grando from Croatia and hunt for him is well documented.Also letters used in Witcher is ancient Croatian letters,very popular in tatoo studios here.

Lord Nicolas I am Russian and live in Estonia. I have lost faith in finding REAL Slavic girl. Not the one who swears like a shoemaker, walks with gopniks and listens to that Russian pop (or rap) that they call music. In Estonia Russian girls are almost the same. The good and pretty ones are almost all the time sitting at home. Soon i’ll have to put a breaching charge on a door and rush with flowers to get them xD Or somewhere in villages there are a lot of good and beautiful girls. The real ones.
