Elvis was such a special person. He did make him some beautiful jewelry. If Elvis had gave me a car or anything... I don't think I would be able to part with it no matter what...! That's awesome to know one of those cars are still out there though. If I had money like Elvis I would have been the same way . It's always better to give than to get gifts in my opinion. Hello from England What a fascinating man is Lowell Hays. His connection to Elvis with the jewellery is so amazing and i bet he had some "stories to tell" Elvis all throughout his short life was very very stylish and always reinventing himself so you would expect Elvis to have some great ideas of what he wanted.

Great interview! Once I saw Mr Hay’s say that it got to where Elvis had the combination to his traveling jewelry cases and would remove items and all had a tag or stickers on them where Elvis would leave the tags in the case for anything he removed and would be billed later for what he took. Pretty cool.

Love my new TCB ring I got at the Elvis fest in Tupelo! What a great time we had. And most especially visiting the Tigerman MoJo karate museum and, of course meeting Trey, Spa Guy and the Memphis Mafia Kids Danny and Teresa, Billy Smith and Jo Smith, wow, just wow 😲 it was awesome.

Hi Trey, A REALLY FANTASTIC interview great questions too! Where was this filmed?

He designed so much stuff. It was all beautiful. I’ve seen so many of the thivgs he made for Elvis. I’ve seen the videos of people thst received the jewelry. They always show pieces Elvis give them. He mentioned Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis liked Sammy cause he was there at a time when Elvis was so nervous. So some months later Sammy was at a party after a show. Elvis had on a horseshoe shaped diamond ring. Sammy made a remark about the ring about how beautiful it was. A few hours later when Sam was leaving. Elvis took the ring off and put it in sammys hand. Told him thanks for always being there when he needed a friend. Sammy told him Elvis you don’t have to give that to me. I like your friendship. Elvis said I want you to have it. But don’t give it away. Sam said I won’t. Sammy wore it till he died.
