I really do hope they become more than just a band I listened to during my adolescence, I feel like I would still be listening to them in my 30s.

I was happy Ashton acknowledged that they also have fans in their twenties. I always hate it when they just say they have a teenaged fanbase because it's not true. I'm 23 and proud to say they are one of my favourite bands.

I kinda see that you should be careful with doing it, since their fame was so big, but I've seen bands get critizised for other people saying it (someone blaming it on the band for being compared), it doesn't happen often, but it's still a sensitive topic!

About Jonathan.... I see what he meant and I understand Michael too. Firstly it's hard to compare the Beatles and 5sos cuz they are different era plus they make different music, also just how Michael said it's kind of edgy to say someone reminds you of Beatles because they are THE BEATLES not just any band sooo for me to as a Beatles fan it sounded a bit weird... BUT we all know how the Beatles started and what they achieved so that's why I partly agree with Johnathan. The Beatles matured with their music and became legends(hopefully 5sos will end up as such people). Soooooooooo in the end of the day I'll go with what Luke said it was a nice complement :3

5sos wanted to be more than just a band? They succeeded. They have made me so much more confident in myself, and I haven't cut for a year (aka how long I've been a fan.)
