Күн бұрынElwynn Forest is a labyrinthine mixture of rushing rivers, various lakes, and forests of magnificent trees and lush glades. Stormwind City itself sits proudly in the northwestern hills of the region, its gates opening down onto the Forest.
East of Stormwind and behind a thick wall lies the peaceful Northshire Valley and its Abbey. After the Cataclysm it was invaded by goblin assassins and Blackrock orcs. The formerly kobold-infested Echo Ridge Mine has been closed up.
Bears, wolves, and boars constitute the bulk of the region's large wildlife. The creatures are hostile everywhere except for Northshire. The roads leading from Stormwind and Northshire converge to the southeast just north of Goldshire. Goldshire is Elwynn's largest settlement besides Stormwind itself. Second to Goldshire is the Eastvale Logging Camp in the east near the border with Redridge Mountains. Eastvale is the center of Elwynn's lumber industry. On the road from Goldshire to Eastvale is the Tower of Azora where mages conduct arcane experiments in seclusion. On the road to Westfall from Goldshire is the imposing Westbrook Garrison. This barracks and surrounding grounds house a number of the Stormwind Guard and protects Elwynn's western border. Dotted throughout the forest are small farmsteads growing crops such as wheat, pumpkins, melons, and grapes.
Kobolds infested the Jasperlode Mine and Fargodeep Mine. Gnolls have erected camps in the Forest's Edge region and the northern rim of Stone Cairn Lake. Murlocs have taken up residence in and around Stone Cairn Lake and Crystal Lake.

Nothing beats that feeling when you started your first human character and accepted your first quest in Northshire Abbey. You knew this was going to be good. Turns out it was the best

@@rhoskanobi never once made a human , although I did make an alliance character… that being said I have the fondest memories of going in the original wow to pvp and grief in these zones with my rogue . I had a fight with a paladin that went from goldshire to lakeshire that lasted for over an hour. (He used LoH twice and back then the cd was 60 mins I think) anyway , these vibes just hit different for me too and I had to say sorry to all the low level humans. Your death wasn’t in vain, I had a brilliant time.

Bro this came out in 2005, and it was fucking INCREDIBLE at that time. It was the first real massive open world online role playing game - and it was magical. I made so many friends in my guild

The kind of nostalgic that once you hear it, you can feel it and it transports you to moments you were truly happy and probably doesnt even realized. The only thing that hurts me very badly is knowing this game won't ever come back to be as good as it was. Thanks for the work you put into this Meisio, you've unlocked a lot of happy memories.

I recently recreated the cataclysm westfall ost with virtual samples. This theme as long as the entire Elwyn zone just have something extra special. Back in 2006, my room was in renovation. In order to download wow, I let the computer turned on in the middle of the room covered in plastics while workers were there. It took a full 2 weeks with an old adsl internet connexion. At midnight, the installation was finally complete. The first character was a Human Warrior. I swear I can still smell the fresh paint and the new floor tile that was there that day when I see Elwyn Forest ...

The vibes are hauntingly amazing. The nostalgic feeling of the first time playing this game will never leave me. The GM grind in Vanilla was truly brutal but the journey was the best time in my gaming history.

I dont play WoW anymore (was a day 1 player), but still have WoW on my computer. When I start to work, I launch WoW and drop my character in goldshire on one monitor. On the other monitor I work. I just love the music and ambiance of this zone

This was amazing! I've mostly played vanilla and then classic. There are quite a few versions that I don't recognise all that well, slowed down versions and others. Does the music differ from vanilla to cataclysm?

You have killed enough and begin to slow down a bit by the river. All of a sudden, When the music kicks in, you shut your game down and delete it in order to never play it again. You realized once again nostalgia has make itself memorable and memories of the past were majestic not the game itself, you will never be able to experience azeroth again just as you did when you were a kid. Until you forget all your recent miserable attempts to catch the feelings of being a kid, you decide to not play for a second call.. Do not try to break the cycle, I tried. There is only sorrow and pain when you restrain yourself.

New is not new anymore. Vanilla elwynn was here for you for only 6 years. This one has been here for you for 14 years already. If you miss vanilla zones, it's like missing your EX, while you have a better, much more prettier wife, for much longer. Change my mind.

People enjoy watching these "essence of the game" videos more than playing the live game. Tells you enough about how far has Blizzard swayed the game from the original feel and lore.

They changed their lifestyle in the forest. It takes a while to adapt to the omnivore diet. Eating grapes is a life changer.

Juego desde 2005... en agosto cumpliré 20 años en el WOW.... Tengo 67 años y pienso seguir hasta que me muera arriba del teclado...
