I always check gotta check for Elz since his days in Slum Village. One of the BEST and most important lyricists in this day and age of hip-hop. One thing I've always noticed about Elzhi for the last 15 to 20 years is his cleverness with the wordplay on tracks like "More Colors (DJ Spinna Remix), Misright, Pros and Cons, and even this one with Bishop" just to name a few. The man is brilliant at rhyming, wordplay, and painting a picture in the mind's eye. Not to mention he got down on the impressive "Elmatic" album. I'm waiting on an album by Elz with beats by Primo, Statik Selektah, Pete Rock, Alchemist, Black Milk, and Quelle Chris.

I don't understand why brothers like him ain't FILTHY RICH by default.. He's such a talented and skilled writer.. Why the marketing side always lacking with these great pen's? If "Crazy Frog" or can make BILLIONS OF VIEWS.. why can't people like Elzhi?

This is exactly how i thought it should be.... Wow... great work this is absolutey incredible.... your words are cinematic!!!!... You could make an ep of just running down all the clasisics and make visualls for itll.. like boyz in the hood, menace or south central, etc.. that would be absolutely bonkers!!! on some "tales from the hood" time!!!!
