Em cosmetics is honestly one of my absolute favorite brands !!!! I have yet to find anything by Em that I don't like....and so many of my favorites are from this brand..... (repurchased products)

I can’t buy enough EM these days. I shattered my Magic Hour palette by mistake and am absolutely going to replace it. Not in love with the structure of their new points system, but I still love that they have one at all

I really enjoyed this! I am a big big em cosmetics fan, i ordered Rodin when it released and I agree that topper is pretty enough to sell me a palette too. I’ve been debating if I want the baroque blush ….. but I also find the makeup by Mario bronzer so pretty!

I love and appreciate comparisons because we have these products and then something new comes out and we wonder hmmm is it better, is it worth spending money on another …. That looks like everything I have. We all have a color way that we’re drawn to and tend to buy. These help me with the FOMO! Thanks Queen Kackie

Idk if this made my decision easier or harder 😂 I was initially leaning towards em cosmetics Rodin but now I kinda enjoy the cooler tone of MBM. Loved this video! Loved the EM Cosmetics side. I don't know if this makes sense but the Mario side felt more classic Hollywood glam because it was more muted and the Em Cosmetics side felt more like a "natural girl" makeup because of how saturated it was and almost like you've been out in the sun all day and you look flushed.

Interestingly enough, I had picked up the Makeup by Mario one in my quest for the perfect neutral palette and even though the shade I mainly bought it for (the satin/shimmer brown) was almost perfect for what I wanted, I just wasn't completely sold for some reason so I returned it. The DAY I returned it, EM Cosmetics announced the Masterpiece Collection and I ended up loving Rodin and think it has that certain je ne sais quoi that the Mario one didn't give me. Even though it's almost double the price of the Mario quad, I think I'm gonna get way more wear out of it.

I can't say I love one side or the other. I came away from this adding bits from each brand to my wishlist. The Mario creams, the Em powder blush, both eye palettes (though I'm leaning more towards the Mario eye), and the Em lips. Thanks for doing this, Kackie, I actually learned more than I thought I would! 💜

I know I’m late but in some ways I prefer the vision of the Mario palette it’s not the sort of vibe I’d typically go for and buy but it’s the definition of soft matte glow, and I could tell that was what I was getting from the bronze metallic satin. I have something similar form coloured rain (from when they do singles) and it’s the kind of thing that looks so simple and sophisticated and texturally is more universal in terms of performance (good on hooded lids like mine). It’s that I’m rich *itch sheen 😂. I do like the em cosmetics and the sort of fun dimension it provides but it’s more dupeable to me to a lot of palettes and singles.

I bought the EM Rodin palette but after watching this, I wish I had the Mario 😅 mostly because it’s cooler in tone. But also, because I don’t have a ton of eyeshadow, I’m not super comfortable doing eyeshadow looks. So I think the Mario would’ve been easier for me to use, even though the EM formula is lovely. Lol. Splitting hairs I guess. Both look amazing on you!

Which EM cosmetic eyeshadow is best for blue eyes? I am very attracted to Magic Hour. Haven’t purchased because on no buy because I need to use what I have but… I would love to try a lip too.

Magic hour would be great if you're neutral to cool, Venetian rose is great if you're neutral to warm. They're both really gorgeous though, you could go either way!

20 years in NJ/NY and i still can't predict the weather. I can't put my seasonal clothes away cz it can go from 29-59 F in one week. my west coast friends who need to come for work every once in a while know not to ask my recommendations about the weather, cz it almost feels like a troll.

Saw state of kait review Mario lip and I would dislike it because of her video. I would rather purchase the EM cosmetics lip. Her complaint was the smell and the taste got in her mouth and she said it was awful. Flowery and tingly no.

You keep mentioning that the EM cosmetics cushion foundation range isn't good. But you never say which content creators, with different skin tones than yours, have said the shades don't work for them. I want to hear their perspectives, so please do cite them!

Bekah Sun reviews it and states it’s one of her favorites. She is Asian and says she has a lot of experience with cushion foundations. She’s a medium deep skin tone.

Hon y’all might be a bit biased the shade range does suck🎉🎉😂😂 Kackie thanks for always being an Ally in the makeup industry as a powerful face in this clean beauty sphere and not giving exceptions even if you like the brand owner and see their vision. People tend to forget beauty is supposed to apply to ALL and what SOME people consider dark skin others will look and see medium dark (furthermore the deep category does exist and is one of the most under represented, just like/even more than our true porcelain white ladies and gents) I don’t give Em Cosmetics a pass because of where it’s produced and popularized.
