Got this from a eBay seller who happens to live in MA. He had one for sale on eBay that ended up being bought by Braxton The Vintage Fan Man, though he had this one up for grabs so me and Nathan/EPSILON120 drove out to meet up with the seller and saw his collection and such. Bought this from him along with the Huntington and plan to buy more from him in the future. The seller remains anonymous for now so I am respecting his wishes to be unknown for now though he said it’s totally fine to share his eBay link. As many of you know these Airmasters are huge childhood fans for me due to the ones at the Salem Willows arcade and Midway. Seen these in many other places as well as a kid but those ones are the main reasons that these are so important to me as a collector. Some places I’ve seen these at are auto shops, grocery stores, libraries, churches, and many other places. Nothing great about the build on these but they are cool none the less. Performance is actually impressive despite it not being the best made fan. I can see why these sold well during its time, being an inexpensive fan that really is a good air mover for what it is. I absolutely love the design that the motor has. It really gives it a futuristic look that makes it look like a spaceship of sorts with the aqua greenish motor. Sold throughout the 70s and 80s, they have been a icon within the fan community for being such unique looking fans that have been around during many decades yet remain common to this day. This one is from July of 1987. Bearings need a little TLC but nothing g that some oil won’t fix. Enjoy!
