Navarrete looks like he wasn't even in a fight, unscathed without any cuts or bruises in his face. Valdez is a great former champion and still can come back and win another one. Both of these fighters showed true sportsmanship, great fight.

Oscar has nothing to be ashamed on put on a hell of a fight Navarette was just the better man that night I mean the guy threw over 1k punches, and took huge clean power shots on the chin and barely looks like he has a scratch on him, his gas tank is different too! The doctor should be suspended, he is corrupt, Valdez's face was smashed and they never went up to check him, surely there was a lot at stake due to a technical knockout 💲💰. I think Valdez could've done a better job, terrible game plan from reynoso's corner to send Oscar to trades punches with a hard hitter, Navarrete has carried his power from 122 to 130. No rematch needed, he outclassed Valdez.

Yeah bad corner work by Eddy. He was still telling Oscar to let Navarrete to punch himself out and wait for that left hook to open up still in like the 7th-8th Rd and he was already doing that all fight and it wasn’t working, Oscar caught him clean plenty times and it just wasn’t enough to even blemish his face, I still think Oscar is more technically sound and his best bet was to outbox the other boxer not to use that high guard wait for Navarrete to gas a bit then hit w the big counter, bc they must’ve not realized Navarrete got a Prius like stamina throwing 80-120 in nearly every rd is insane

I think Oscar is done after this fight. His face doesn’t help him convince no judge to over think any round. He can stick on becoming a full time broadcaster for boxing.
