Thank you so much for this video. I did away with cable about 20 years ago but kept the internet connection. Then about 2 years ago I discovered KZfaq videos and that has provided me with loads of entertainment. For the past few years though I have also been curious about the converter boxes but had no idea about where to begin. Thank you again for sharing this with us!! : )

Somebody gave me this box and it's kind of old and because of your video I explored the remote control and found a way to scan some channels and went from like having three channels to 23 I'm a lot better off now and a lot more happy thank you

Hi. I plugged in my ematic digital converter yesterday, Friday. Model number AT103B. So far all is fine except the time. All the times are on the 24 hour military clock. Instead of saying 6:00 pm to 6: 30 pm, it says

I'm trying to set mine up now and I didn't have an antenna so went back to the store and bought a booster antenna and I'm not getting any channels. Do I need something else?

I bought the Ematic AT 103 C three days ago. I get 58 channels, use a omni 8088 antenna, live in a small city outside Seattle. A few issues I have is the audio doesn’t sync up with people talking, the weak channels become skewed, go in and out and if a plane or helicopter flies over the TV will show no signal while they’re in the area. When you scan channels, make sure ANTENNA is in the “ON” position. If not the TV goes to PBS channel and you’ll only get a few channels... Do your homework when seeking out an antenna, better is always best!

Can you program another control to this converter box ??

Fantastic video even though that I am watching this three years later after you recorded this so perhaps maybe some new features has been added or if it is the same as the model that you’re showing.

Do these units last a long time? I got one and am surprised the do so much.

I bought an antenna and switches my TV to antenna. It said I get 37 channels, but I only see channel 2abc. When I change the channel on my TV to change 4 I still only see channel 2. Do I need one of these converter boxes? I've noticed there stations numbers are shown as 2-1, 44-5, 7-4. But when I turn my TV to channel 7 it's blue screen. I'll rescan in channel 7 and get channel 2. I'm thinking I need one of these converter boxes in order to change channels. Am I on the right track.
