EMBARK Psychedelic Therapy for Depression: A New Approach for the Whole Person is a comprehensive guidebook for clinicians that presents a novel therapeutic framework for administering psychedelic medicines. The EMBARK model was developed in response to the growing interest in psychedelic medicines for treating mental health disorders, particularly depression, and the identified gaps in existing models of psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT).
Alex Belser, PhD, is a clinical scientist, author, and licensed psychologist with a focus on psychedelic research. Currently he is At Yale University working as a Co-Investigator for a study investigating psilocybin treatment for people with OCD. He has explored the potential of novel therapies in multiple clinical trials with psilocybin, MDMA, ketamine, and DMT to help alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety, addiction, and PTSD.

I loved all of this. He really touched on so many important topics. As someone who did all of my sacred medicine therapy alone in my own living room, I’m glad he touched on all the things that he did. There’s no way I would have gone where I have on psychedelics if I was in a doctors office. First off, I never would have thought to go to a therapist for the issue that came out in my psychedelic journey. Anyway, thanks for bringing him on. I personally feel strongly that these medicines should not only be available in our current “healthcare” system.

I Am 71 depression and PTSD form childhood, it surfaced in my 40’s….I just finished seven Ketamine infusions…I Know I need something to help further…I feel psychedelic would work for me. I’m tempted to purchase online…or be part in a study.
