If you could charge it wirelessly the price is okay. Or at least via USB-C so you don´t need to bring a charging brick. Especially annoying with the travel mug. What´s the point if you can´t charge it in the car or when you travel... ^^

I probably won’t buy this for myself, but one of my daughters is going to be 40 next year and I think that this would be a perfect gift for her, she’s always reheating her coffees in the microwave. Cheers ☺️

Happy early birthday to her! Yeah I totally agree it's one of those items that's too expensive to buy for yourself but special to buy for others. She will enjoy the taste much better than microwaving.

I got the V1 for my birthday a fwe years ago and honestly I really love it. they sell mug warmers that do essentially the same thing and are WAY cheaper, but getting it as a gift was nice. I will say, the heating from this mug is really gentle so it doesnt scorch the coffee on the bottom. Like most people, I dont think I would have ever purchased it for myself, but now that I have it, I really enjoy it.

haha that's EXACTLY my thoughts. It's like you would feel silly to get it for yourself but deep down inside you know it's pretty neat to have this. =]

this is one of those things i would definitely buy if the price was 50-60 USD. For now, ill wait for the day when i have enough spare money to buy this and not hate myself afterwards.

I would definitely buy this. Every morning since I’ve had kids, I would make a cup of coffee, or two and leave it on the counter about to drink it then my kids argue or they need help with something or something happens and I can’t drink my coffee right away then it ends up getting cold . Yes the price does suck and it’s pricy for a mug but it’s convenience I care more about. So yes I definitely would buy one.

Super niche product but it does the job. Kept coffee nice and warm even after an hour and perfect drinking temp.

I want to say that the experience does get hindered by the app on Android. But as for the cup itself I do believe is a great present to give to someone who enjoys tea or coffee.

I had version 1 and man adding sugar to your coffee really does something to it. It started to peel off lol yeah not the best

2:00 I don't think a Qi charge can keep up with the current needed for a heating element

Not worth it. I was on the fence but their complete lack of faith in their own product (only warranted for 30 days- are you joking?) made me pass on this. So you pay a ridiculous amount of money, then they want you to purchase a warranty- hard pass. Just get a nice heavy mug, not super wide on top, and use a glass cover in between sips and it stays hot long enough. Also, heat up anything you add to your coffee like creamer as well.

@@wclark3196 Wrong- I am just not stupid. I do not chose to waste my money on products that fail. I've since been using a narrow tall mug and first heating up the milk for 1 minute in the microwave before adding coffee. It works. It's a 30 day return w/15% restocking. 1 years limited doesn't cover many things like embedded software/blue tooth, corrosion, batteries, etc. All the things that are most likely to fail so it is almost worthless. A confident warranty would be an unlimited 1 year warranty- return for any reason or your money back.

@@jonathanyuen8820 I hear you. I drive a nice Lexus and LOVE all the creature comforts. I also take my coffee seriously. Do you still have and LOVE this mug- or are there any others you might recommend? You make a good point although as I sit here sipping my Chocolate, Cinnamon, fine ground Espresso it occured to me that I finish my cups pretty quickly-

@DG-ti1jb I don't have it lol however if I was to be at work I could make a large one using my aeropress and know I don't have to down it. Often I feel rushed to drink it before it gets cold and end up drinking too quickly. I guess it all depends on the situation. Id rather have something like this at my desk..

@@XICups ~ 40-50 is more reasonable. 70 if the cup holder was versatile (ex. could charge your phone)

@@dianashein4125 I agree! OR they can have an option to sell the cup on its own and let it be Qi compatible. This way people can use their existing chargers.
