The cutscenes in Kena are 10/10 perfection. My GOTY. Such an amazing game and story

Hey Ember Lab, whatever you do please don't lose sight of yourselves. This game is amazing. It has been a long time since I felt like this for a game, it is truly a special experience. This game by far has one of the most powerful endings I've experienced (I won't put spoilers for others). The difficulty, the story, the culmination of everything you've learned up to this point and the music all came together in perfect harmony for the end to make me so extremily emotional even in the heat of a very intense battle. It's been a long time that I have felt the same intensity and drive as the character I'm playing during the final battle. It wasn't a "oh this is a cool fight" it was a "I need to win this" for story purposes and it was the biggest challenge I've faced in the entire game as well. When that music hit at one point I legitimately got teary eyed and got hyper aggressive. Not nessisarily because of sadness either, it was just so emotional and gave me so much drive. It matched everything that was going on perfectly. This being your first game is mindblowing. You aren't only on my radar now, I'm a legitimate fan now. Please keep up this wonderful passionate work. I won't be forgetting this experience.

I know this may sound strange but I've played the game at least 15 times now and I can't stop it is so well made and since I'm more of a lore guy what happens to Rusu after you free Taro? I searched for him everywhere and couldn't find. Anyways the game made me cry thank you emberlab for making it! 🧡

Just got the platinum, loved the game. The music, art design, graphics, performance (ps5), voice work, story were perfect. Audio mixing was an issue for me with music being too loud during certain dialog despite turning the music down (and sound effects, so I wager some voice lines are sound effects). Stunning that this was your first game as a studio. I hope to see more of Kena, because she wasn’t as fleshed out as I’d have liked, there’s more there I know it.

you guys should update in game cinematics to 60 fps its shocking when you pass from solid 60 fps to 30, great game btw.

Hello Ember Lab! I would like to say thank you for creating this wonderful game or I mean, this true masterpiece! I've been playing to this game for 2 months (yes, I know I'm late) and it's always a pleasure to play it. The cutscenes, characters, music, gameplay, environments, are so amazing. Kena and Toshi are great character, they are my favorite. I started the master mode a week ago and I beat corrupt Taro recently... What a great boss! He's very difficult to beat in second stage, so agressive with his claws. I can't wait to see how the orther boss will challenge me. I'm ready to suffer! Ahah! I don't know if your next project is to create a second Kena game or another new game, but I want you to know that I will be there to buy it whatever it is. Keep up the good work! 👍 -A Belgian fan!

I loved this game! Beautiful from start to finish. Also, will we ever get a full soundtrack release? Bought the deluxe edition but was a little disappointed it only came with 10 tracks.

Unfortunately the story in this game felt like an enormous nothing burger until the final chapter. I still loved it in the end but I feel like too much was hidden until the finale for a player to truly care about things early on
