Just been watching your video and following your instructions and using the stuff that i have my leaves worked out so lovely. I just couldn’t believe it and how beautiful the are. What if you hinged the two stencils together, at the top with washi or mint type tape. Then you could move the top one off the other one until needed.😀🇦🇺

I've recently got back to card making and need to get more ideas. Today has really stirred me up. The cards are lovely. I'm going to laminate empty folders and try and make my own stencils from cutting dies and also download a template for card sizes and laminate it to make the mat you've got. It's lovely to hear a UK voice also. I'm subscribing.

Hi Marion. What great techniques. I had a little giggle when you spread the paste over the stencil and said it's just like buttering toast. Those panels are just gorgeous! As soon as I saw the color oceanic pour out I was in love with it! Fabulous! It’s perfect timing for watching you do stencils because that’s what I’ve been trying to play around with. I’m behind on all the regular techniques so I’m starting to branch out a bit. I had acrylic paints out today! What a beautiful mess ! These are just so pretty! My order at wow was already over $100 US! I haven’t placed it yet of course, but I’ll need to soon.

@@marionembersonthanks! No problem holding off. I have a wishlist so huge I’ll never be able to afford them all. But I found out that there’s several pages at the top! I hadn’t seen before because I’m always looking on my phone and missed it! I did find your Minty color that if I used the month sequins sparingly with white and white snowflakes would look cool added over the sparkles just here n there lightly. It’s transparent too. I found some pinks finally I think glitters that I would use the same if I did pink n white. But the only way I’ll know if im going to do this is to buy the sparkles and a pink and mint and try it out. It’s actually stressing me out too much. I do have an anxiety disorder along with OCD so not being able to go to a store and pull color has me tweeting out. And it’s so easy! But, I will start with the colors you used except the twinkerbell one. That’s the last you poured over and I think that’s where I’ll have to pull my sequin color in. I actually wanted to do a poinsettia card this year In pink and lime or vellum with sparkled edges of the petals. That’s new for me. I loved todays card and put it all on my list! Stencil too!

Hi gorgeous! I do it with Distress Oxide and the embossing powder sticks directly because they take a long time to dry. I love Wow powders and I make a lot of videos showing them in Spain. Tomorrow I will do a live one with the technique you taught of "the skin".

Beautiful. I’m finding that my paste does make the card bend up a bit when it’s dry and I see it did on yours… What technique do you use to flatten it?

Thank you, if it’s quite bent then I’ll set a book on it overnight, usually once it’s stuck down and completely dry, it flattens, hope you get on ok with yours 🥰🥰🥰

Just discovered your channel and it's inspired me to use my badly neglected embossing powders. I tried using a stencil with an embossing pad and I had awful problems getting the stencil clean. This has put me off doing this technique again. Just wondering how you clean your stencils. Thanks

Hi Kerry, I just clean my stencil with a baby wipe, but I don’t put the pad down directly on the stencil, I use a blending brush that I keep for WOW ink only. 🥰🥰

Another great video all be it an oldie from you but I have so many to go through, what I also love about your videos is I get to see so many other brands which is great, if anything I found in this one I've not really seen in your others were the amount of annoying adverts, I have no idea how that works as I only watch not upload, could also be down to how long ago this one was made, they are so annoying.

Thank you 🤗🤗 I understand about the ads, as I’m the same when I watch them, but I don’t know that I have much choice, I do know that they help with a little, and I mean little, revenue, which in turn helps me do all these videos. 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Ramona, I do use wet wipes, especially when I’m filming, so quick and easy. Gesso is a sort of white paint that is used to prep substrates, I use this, embossing paste or just embossing ink for these techniques, just whatever I have at hand. Don’t feel you have to use this. 🥰🥰🥰

@@ramonaamsler1209 hi Ramona, texture paste will be fine, it’s great as when you heat it it will puff up and give really good texture, I love using texture paste with embossing powder 🥰🥰🥰
