Hey! I was wondering how you were printing the image onto the tearaway without the tearaway ripping mid stitch. All the times ive tried printing a design on double tearaway it has always ended up with the tearaway ripping mid stitch

I noticed your tension setting was between 1-2. I have a Brother SE625 but, never used the embroider. My tension is currently set at 4 for sewing. Should I switch the tension between 1-2 on my machine when I try to embroider ?

Hi! Trying to get into embroidery as a way to support my family, but I have a few simple questions. Other than the embroidery machine and thread, I’d there anything else you need in order to embroider a design on a hoodie? I’m having trouble finding videos on it and this has been the most helpful so far, I’m just a bit confused as I’m pretty young. So when you plugged the hard drive in, how did you get the pattern you wanted on it? Just any picture off google?

Does the size of the thread matter? Like the thickness of the thread. Can I use an all purpose thread? I’m new to this excuse my ignorance.

Yes. You can use all purpose thread but just so you know embroidery thread is softer and smoother and feels better on the skin. Smaller weight thread really comes into play when you wanna embroider small text. I did a video on it. Check it out. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b7hofbmLu73Hn2w.html

You need software to create your own designs. Images have to be digitized into a format that the machine understands with information like thread color, the amount of stitches, which direction to embroider, where to stop etc.

Watch my how to embroider perfectly video. That will save you from having a bunch of issues. Don’t cheap out on digitizing software. Don’t try to do mare than you are capable of in the beginning. Start off with small designs and work your way up to more complex images once you understand the basic function. I basically recorded my entire journey from when I first opened the box most of the things I learned I made a video on. Just follow along with my videos and you really can’t go wrong. I have videos on how to wind a bobbin, how to hoop fabric, how to embroider on a shirt, how to start making money with the se600 ASAP. How to clean it. I have a video for almost everything in this unit. Just watch why you wanna know about it’s all on the channel.

If you use the correct stabilizer it should be fine. Make sure you use cut away stabilizer and hang dry only.

I’ve never used it or heard of it till you mentioned it. Looks like it’s just an app that lets you view a small preview of what your files look instead of just seeing the name.

Passporad Terrabyte the software does not come with the machine. I use pe design 10. My team members use wilcom embroidery studio.

Does it matter how many colors you design has? What if you have shading in your designs?

It can still handle that. I have the pe535 but all I have to do when it does multi color is it does one layer of color then stops and I can manually change the thread color and it’ll resume to the next layer
